Outfit day! And guess what?! I have THREE to share. One from each discipline. We'll start with last night's riding outfit since I haven't done a horsey one in awhile.
The best thing about having horses at home? I can ride in tank tops without feeling like I'm inappropriately dressed. No one around to see me! This outfit is all pretty old stuff. Let's look closer:
Top:
I forgot to look which brand this is. I got it a million years ago at Marshalls. I like that it's long enough to tuck in. Plus it has palm trees on it. Perfect!
Breeches: Ovation
These are some oldies. They are side zip, but do not have the popular euro seat stitching all the cool kids are wearing. They're super comfy and fit well though. They don't do that saggy crotch thing the Tuffrider breeches seem to do to me.
Boots: Tuffrider
These are the sport model. You already know I love these. I should probably take better care of them... But they're for everyday, so they look it.
Next up: Running outfit!
Mint! Yay! I love running skirts, so glad it's summer and I can wear them. It was nice and cool this morning. Perfect running weather!
Top: Aeropostale
I love that this is loose fitting yet also a wicking material. I am pleasantly surprised by the Aeropostale workout clothes. If you haven't tried them yet, I recommend giving them a shot. They're inexpensive and very comfortable.
Skirt: Avia
I love the mint trim and attached shorts on this skirt. So fun! It's super comfortable and fits great.
Ok now on to work clothes:
I'm glad my workplace is so casual. I love tanks and jeans, and it makes me so happy to be able to wear them to work.
Top: Le Lis
After joining Golden Tote's trading group, I saw someone mention this other company called Moxie.Style which is new. They are a fun clothing website with a twist. They have a few limited items to purchase right on the site, but they also have Mystery Bags. I love a good mystery! So I ordered a couple and have been having so much fun with them! This top is one of my surprise items. I'm not usually a big fan of coral, but for some reason I love this tank. Like LOVE love it. The mystery bags are fun because I'm getting to try things I would probably overlook on my own.
Pants: Rue 21
These are oldies you've seen before. Very comfy, and I love that they're not-quite-white. Makes me feel safer about keeping them clean-ish.
Belt: No Brand
I got this on Ebay. It's clearly a Gucci knockoff but I gotta say...It's kind of a terrible knock off. But I like it anyway.
Shoes: Rocket Dog
I accidentally went shopping at Famous Brand Shoes the other day... Oops. And came home with these adorable flip flops. I love the beading and rhinestones!
Arm Party:
Lefty:
Another ebay find to start us off. I like this new style! Next is a leather and chain bracelet from Ettika, and last is my trusty watch.
Righty:
Let's start on the right side because I'm so excited about that bracelet! It's from Kate Spade and I'm pretty ashamed by how much money I spent on it. But I mean... a bracelet shaped like SUNNIES! I've been wearing it since it arrived. Under that is a pretty neon coral bracelet from Express and a white and gold braided bracelet from Baublebar.
That's what I'm wearing today! What are you wearing? Can you be casual at work or do you have to stay professional?

Thursday's Threads
You're never going to believe this... It's NOT snowing! The SUN is out! I mean it's still cold:
But the sun's shining! I'll take it! They told us yesterday it would be snowy for the morning, so I'm super happy they were wrong this time. I picked out my outfit last night though, with the intention of bringing my own sunshine to work today. You know what that means! NEON!
I love neon yellow. Hot green and bright pink too, but I love neon yellow best of the fluorescent hues. I think because it reminds me of sunshine. And sunshine makes me happy. Let's look closer!
Top: Aeropostale
Heathered, neon, and cable knit. All of my favorite things! Plus it's a cotton/poly blend which means it can wash and dry.
Scarf: unknown
I can't recall where I got this scarf. I'm pretty sure it was Zulilly, but it doesn't have a brand on it anywhere. It's a nice lightweight infinity, and is perfect for today! The sweater has a wider neckline, and this accessory keeps me from freezing at my desk!
Pants: ZCo.
I think dark denim looks best with neon. That or black, but today I was in the mood for dark denim. I picked these pants up at Deb the weekend before last. They're going out of business so all the jeans were super on sale. I think maybe I should have sized up a bit, but hopefully now that I have and am using the treadmill, these will be just fine.
Shoes: unknown
These shoes are crazy. They are similar to Converse Chucks, but they are knee high. And lace all the way up! So crazy! They came with white laces, but I put green and yellow in instead. I found them on ebay, and think maybe they are actually from Claire's. But I'm not certain.
Arm Party:
Left:
How fantastic is that giant glass stone?! That came from Ettika when they had their end of summer sale. They make the cutest string bracelets (and others too!). As per the norm, my trusty watch is next to that great bracelet. I was actually going to wear my rubber neon watch, but it needs a battery.
Right:
First I have on a leather bracelet with giant silver bolts. I THINK I got this from Loehmann's awhile back, but I can't honestly remember. I love it though, it's really soft and comfortable to wear. Plus it's neon! Next to that is another Ettika piece. This one has a black stone and is macrame. So cute!
Since it's 18 degrees and feels like 7, I have layered on some outerwear. I don't have a pic with my full gear on, but I did take two with this awesome vest:
This one came from Fabletics (note: that's an affiliate link. If you click through and place an order, I get some free credit toward a new outfit. Which would be awesome...) It's a lightweight down vest in charcoal with neon zippers. Obviously I had to have it.
Not to go off on a tangent... but here I go: I think this lightweight (some call it packable) down is one of the best inventions of all time. Seriously. It's REALLY warm yet not at all bulky. I love it for riding in the cold, shoveling snow, whatever it is you have to do in the misery of winter. I actually have two jackets and two vests from Eddie Bauer that I HIGHLY recommend. They also wash and dry great. I think I'd like to get a longer coat version as well.
Ok, back to Thursday's Threads! Tangent over. So what are you wearing today? Are you enjoying some sunshine where you are?

Thursday's Threads
Oh Hey! Guess what!?
Yeah, it's snowing again. And honestly, no end in sight. Look at the forecast!
I have to keep reminding myself how much I love where I live. It's easy to forget this time of year. And on the bright side, I pretty much wore sweatpants to work today. And I dare anyone to say anything about it!
It kind of looks like I'm wearing jammies today... In all honesty, it kind of FEELS like I'm wearing jammies too! But it's cold out and snowing. So stop judging.
Sweater: Forever 21
Shirt: Old Navy
You really can't go wrong with a giant, thick cardigan. Bonus points if it has a faux fur collar. I even paid full retail for this one! I mean, it's Forever 21 so that's only like $38.00. But still. I never do that. Worth every cent though, cause I'm toasty warm in my ice cold office!
Leggings: Aeropostale
These knit leggings are super thick. Much more like sweatpants than leggings really. I found them during my after xmas shop-a-thon marked down to 6.99. I have been debating whether or not I could really get away with wearing them to work. But finally I decided, I don't care anymore, because you know... winter. They're comfy like PJ's and super warm.
Boots: Wild Diva
You can't wear sweatpants and a sweater robe to work without furry boots. Clearly. I accidentally bought a bunch of shoes from Beyond the Rack last week that were super on sale. This pair was one of them. It's possible I accidentally got them in brown too. Oops. Hey, for $15.00 each, I decided it was easier than picking one. They are faux suede (or as I call it, fabric) with fake fur tops and tassel ties in
the back. Very comfy... much like slippers. Alright fine. Maybe I DID wear jammies to work today. Whatever.
Jewels:
I kept it pretty simple today with the jewelry:
Left:
Nothing new here! My recent favorite Rebecca Minkoff bracelet and my trusty watch.
Right:
Righty has some ebay specials... A Tory Burch inspired glittery bangle and a Gucci inspired snakeskin bangle.
So that's about it for today. I wore jammies to work. What are you wearing? It it warm and sunny where you are? Can I come visit?

Thursday's Threads
I'm pretty sure I'll never get to wear cute anything ever again. Especially shoes. Which is sad because I'm dying to wear those blue boots I showed you all last week that I ordered.... Ah! I hate waiting! But when your life looks like this everywhere:
You have to wear sensible shoes. Ew. Good thing my sensible shoes are still cute ;) So here's today's outfit:
I'm bringing mint to winter... I think it's acceptable... I mean, you've heard of wintermint gum right? Makes sense to me. Let's look closer at everything!
Boots: Horze Equestrian
I found these at a sample sale at my semi-local tack shop for $25.00. They are the best winter boots I've ever had. Cutest? Maybe not. But they're mint so that helps. They are completely water proof and very warm too. Good boots!
Jeans: Seven
Yeah... that's a picture of my growing hind end... But how cute are these pockets? I think you've probably seen these pants before, I've had them awhile. I recently cleaned out the pants closet, so some oldies but goodies are making a comeback from the bottom of the pile.
Sweater: Aeropostale
Cami: Deb
I found this sweater during my after Xmas shopping stock up binge. It was 5.99. Yep. 5.99!! And it's washable. WIN! The cami I got last year from Deb.com. Unfortunately, they are going out of business, so you can no longer shop on their website. However, if you have a store near you, they are liquidating, so head on over for some great deals!
Scarf: Look
Ha, I should have cropped this photo... That's my "I didn't realize I was in the photo" face. And my double chin. I really do need to start working out. Anyway, I'm in love with this scarf. I got it from Modcloth for I think 7.99. It's mint, cream, and brown. Love!
Armparty:
Lefty:
I got a little edgy today with lefty! The spike bracelet is by Ettika from when Little Black Bag had their big going out of business sale. I got this for a few dollars, but I think full price they're around 40? The initial bracelet is from Baublebar. I love how dainty it is! And of course you'll recognize my trusty watch.
Righty:
Righty is full of minty, sparkly goodness! The first one is a leather bracelet I made. Next is another from Little Black Bag. I forget the brand on that one though. Last is that giant sparkler! I got that one from Baublebar awhile back. I love that it's like the mama to the little baby one I made. Bracelet family! Haha...
So what are you wearing today? Can you wear cute shoes? Will you send me photos of them? Cause I'm jealous.

Thursday's Threads!
See that? PS is shorthand for Pumpkin Spice. Do you know what that means? Summer is ending. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Since I'm so reluctant to embrace the end of summer, I went with pale pink plus a little edge today.
It's edgy 'cause they're acid washed. The 80's were a unique fashion time my friends... And as an 80's child, it's my job to sneak in a reminder now and then. So let's take a closer look at today's outfit!
Top: NY & Co
I like this knit, it's super light weight and sleeveless... but then not really. It will definitely see a lot of use this fall when we hopefully have warmish temps.
Pants: Aeropstale
I actually found these on clearance when I went to FL in February for work. That would make them wayyyy "past season", but I love them. I had remembered them being a little snug so I've been reluctant to wear them, but they actually fit quite nicely. I really should try things on more often.
Shoes: Carlos Santana
I hummed and hawed about getting these, they're from Little Black Bag. I think I actually traded for them? I've surprisingly gotten a lot of use out of them. (P.S. I still miss that website so much.) How can you not win with glitter? Glitter is always a win. ALWAYS.
Belt: Handmade
I think this belt could also be today's #TBT. I got this is 1999 from a vendor at a horse show. She hand made these belts from old horse show ribbons. The best part? The designer of these must have been local to my area as horse shows I've attended regularly are all featured! I haven't worn this in awhile, and I'm not sure why. Will have to get it back in the rotation!
Arm Party!
Left:
I went a little cray-cray with lefty today, but I was having trouble making decisions. When in doubt, pile them on! From the left: Mocha Stone bracelet in pale pink, crystal stretch bracelet that I honestly have no idea where it came from, rhinestone stretch bracelet (also no idea from where), Nakamol beaded bracelet from Little Black Bag, ETK (probably Ettika) from LBB, and of course my favorite watch.
Right:
Righty went with one giant bracelet today. This one came from LBB also, and it's impossible to show in a photo how amazing it is. I didn't appreciate it on the site initially, but then it was offered to me on who-remembers-what, and I took it. The "leather" part is not only a pale pink, but it has a gold overtone to it. I can't get it to show in a photo, so you'll have to trust me. The metal plate across the top is curved just right and is not at all in the way. So glad this came home to me! (And that I remembered I have it...)
So that's it for today! What are you wearing? Are you transitioning to fall styles or clutching to summer looks for dear life?
