Thursdays Threads!

Outfit Day! So I must preface outfit day with a follow up on Jampy. His fever stayed down all night (yay!) so as long as it's still down at lunch time, my vet and I both think it's safe for me to go to the game. My horse sitter who is feeding tonight is very capable and will make sure he's ok until I get home late tonight. Soooooo, this means I'm dressed for game day today!
I mentioned yesterday this is Snoopy give-a-way day, so obviously, I have an outfit for that.

T-shirt: Major League Baseball
Seriously, how cute is this?! My friends that I go to the game with gave it to me for my birthday. I love it so much, and am so excited to finally wear it!

Jeans: Touch
Yep. Yankees emblem on my butt. I love these jeans. They're too long though, so I have them safety pinned at the bottom. I'm cool like that.

Belt: unknown
I found this vintage buckle on Etsy awhile back. The belt I got on ebay from some guy in New York that makes belts.

Shoes: Eastland

I own three pairs of Yankee's shoes. Probably excessive. But it's taken awhile to find a pair I really love. These are them! Hopefully I don't kill them before finding pair number 4...

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is all decked out in some Etsy finds. Also my apple watch. Because I need to count those steps!

Righty:

This is another Etsy bracelet. This thing is so cool! It's made from an actual game ball! I like the bottle cap with the logo on it, and the baseball button clasp. So CUTE!

Fear not, I also have a super fun riding outfit to share today:
I got super pose-y for this one. Model status?

Top: Horseware
I believe this is last seasons. I saw it on Tack of the Day a few weeks ago and snatched it right up. I love the color combo. This is my second top I've gotten from Horsewares, and I have to say, I'm a huge fan. Will definitely be adding to the collection in the future.

Belt: Horseware
Well... I mean... It matched the top so I had to get it too. Right?

Breeches: Annie's Equestrian
These are the original, original blue breeches from Annie's. The ones available now are a little fancier. These are not euro seat, have plain pockets, and velcro bottoms. The new ones are euro seat with sock bottoms, and have rhinestone with trim on the pockets. Much fancier. Also, the new ones are on sale at Annie's right now! Click here if you need a pair.

Half Chaps: unknown brand
Paddock Boots: Horka
You guys! These half chaps are crazy fun aren't they?! I found them on ebay for $68.00. Yes, that's right. My one complaint: they said they were top grain leather, and they are definitely faux leather. But still, how awesome are they? And for the price I can't be too upset. They're a little oddly sized. I actually had to have them taken in because they were huge. They're still a bit too big on top, but it's not like I'll be showing in them, so it's fine. You saw these paddock boots last week.
Confession... I bought a few other pairs of these half chaps in different styles. So you'll be seeing more of them soon!

That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on?

Thursday's Threads!

It's in the 70's here today. That's CRAZY for November! To celebrate springtime in the fall, and because I haven't had a super kitschy outfit on here in awhile, I wore some spring colors and cupcakes. Lots of cupcakes.

I warned you about the cupcakes. There are so many. It's borderline ridiculous. And I love it.

Top: Iron Fist
I wasn't going to buy this... but then I found the shoes on sale and was all... I need it. I bought it online from Modcloth, and didn't realize it was cropped from the photos. I wish it was a touch longer, or that I'd sized up a little. But it's still cute. And it's mint, so that's a total win. I especially love the shiny sprinkles!

Jeans: Lucky Brand
Normally I'm anti-ripped jeans. But this pair was in the final clearance section at Marshall's and fit me like a glove. Thus, I made an exception. Are they work appropriate? Probably not, but no one's sent me home to change yet. I'll let you know if that changes!
I paired them with the cupcakes because I felt that all the sugary, pastel, sweetness needed a touch of bad assery.

Belt: No brand
You can pretty much find anything at all you can imagine on ebay. Case in point: this belt and buckle. They didn't come together. The belt just had a plain buckle, but I could see in the photos it was removable. So obviously I had to hunt down a cupcake buckle for it. Duh.

Shoes: Iron Fist
These shoes are entirely to blame for this ridiculous outfit. Beyond the Rack featured Iron Fist a few months ago, and I bought these shoes for really cheap. I didn't realize the same brand made a sweater to match! Mind. Blown. Or more honestly, wallet blown. Whatever.

Purse: No brand
Hahaha! No really! It's comical. So once you have shoes and belts and sweaters all with cupcakes, why stop there? You need a cupcake purse to match right? RIGHT?! Yes. Yes you do. Thanks again Ebay.

Arm party!
Believe it or not, I don't think I have any cupcake jewelry. It's possible I do... But if so, I didn't see it this morning.
Lefty:
Lefty is sporting a stretch bracelet I got from the now defunct Little Black Bag. I got lucky on this one, it was one they found in the warehouse when they were going out of business. And as always, my trusty timepiece is on my wrist.

Righty:
I kept going with the candy colored theme, and dressed righty in a macrame bracelet from Nicole's Creations, a spike bracelet from BaubleBar, and a spikey stretch bracelet that I made.

That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on?

Thursday's Threads

Outfit day! And guess what?! I have THREE to share. One from each discipline. We'll start with last night's riding outfit since I haven't done a horsey one in awhile.
The best thing about having horses at home? I can ride in tank tops without feeling like I'm inappropriately dressed. No one around to see me! This outfit is all pretty old stuff. Let's look closer:
Top:
I forgot to look which brand this is. I got it a million years ago at Marshalls. I like that it's long enough to tuck in. Plus it has palm trees on it. Perfect!

Breeches: Ovation
These are some oldies. They are side zip, but do not have the popular euro seat stitching all the cool kids are wearing. They're super comfy and fit well though. They don't do that saggy crotch thing the Tuffrider breeches seem to do to me.

Boots: Tuffrider
These are the sport model. You already know I love these. I should probably take better care of them... But they're for everyday, so they look it.

Next up: Running outfit!
Mint! Yay! I love running skirts, so glad it's summer and I can wear them. It was nice and cool this morning. Perfect running weather!

Top: Aeropostale
I love that this is loose fitting yet also a wicking material. I am pleasantly surprised by the Aeropostale workout clothes. If you haven't tried them yet, I recommend giving them a shot. They're inexpensive and very comfortable.

Skirt: Avia
I love the mint trim and attached shorts on this skirt. So fun! It's super comfortable and fits great.

Ok now on to work clothes:

I'm glad my workplace is so casual. I love tanks and jeans, and it makes me so happy to be able to wear them to work.

Top: Le Lis
After joining Golden Tote's trading group, I saw someone mention this other company called Moxie.Style which is new. They are a fun clothing website with a twist. They have a few limited items to purchase right on the site, but they also have Mystery Bags. I love a good mystery! So I ordered a couple and have been having so much fun with them! This top is one of my surprise items. I'm not usually a big fan of coral, but for some reason I love this tank. Like LOVE love it. The mystery bags are fun because I'm getting to try things I would probably overlook on my own.

Pants: Rue 21
These are oldies you've seen before. Very comfy, and I love that they're not-quite-white. Makes me feel safer about keeping them clean-ish.

Belt: No Brand
I got this on Ebay. It's clearly a Gucci knockoff but I gotta say...It's kind of a terrible knock off. But I like it anyway.

Shoes: Rocket Dog

I accidentally went shopping at Famous Brand Shoes the other day... Oops. And came home with these adorable flip flops. I love the beading and rhinestones!

Arm Party:
Lefty:
Another ebay find to start us off. I like this new style! Next is a leather and chain bracelet from Ettika, and last is my trusty watch.

Righty:
Let's start on the right side because I'm so excited about that bracelet! It's from Kate Spade and I'm pretty ashamed by how much money I spent on it. But I mean... a bracelet shaped like SUNNIES! I've been wearing it since it arrived. Under that is a pretty neon coral bracelet from Express and a white and gold braided bracelet from Baublebar.

That's what I'm wearing today! What are you wearing? Can you be casual at work or do you have to stay professional?

Thursday's Threads

Yay! Outfit day! No riding outfit this week, because we were rained out last night. And possibly again this evening, which would really be a bummer... Come on weather! But it wasn't raining at 6:45 this morning, so I DO have a running outfit today! We'll start with that, because it's new and I love the colors!

Mint and Lavendar/Mauve ish! I'm not completely sure what color you call the shorts... but I love them! Perfect with my favorite sneaks!

Top: I can't figure out what the brand was on this one.
This top has a built in bra, but not a padded one, so I added a sports bra just to keep things... smooth.
The top is a little snug, I maybe should have sized up? But I don't think it's terrible.

Shorts: Reebok
These are a nifty little two-in one. The looser short part on top is kind of a mesh, and then the tighter spandex portion is nice and full coverage. They didn't ride up at all while I was running, and may be one of my new favorites!

Sneakers: Mizuno
You've seen them time and time again! But I had to show them with this outfit, because well... MATCHNG SO HARD!
On a side note, Vanessa, Pepper, and I had a great run this morning. Our only break was for Pepper to take care of some business. My watch only pretend charged last night, so I didn't have a time, but it felt decent. Woohoo! Yay for good runs!

Ok back to outfits. My new Golden Tote obsession has led me to spend some time on their trading page on Facebook. And by trading they also mean buying. (Seriously, I have a problem.) So again this week, I am featuring a top from Golden Tote.

Top: Le Sample
See why I HAD TO HAVE IT?! PONIES!!!!! I'm a sucker for a little mixed media (i.e. the lace at the top) but when an item has PONIES ON IT?! I can't not have it. CAN'T NOT HAVE IT. Sorry for all the yelling. But I actually got this shirt last Friday and have been dying to show it off. Ponies! And lace! Ah! Love.

Pants: Seven Jeans
Oldies but goodies. We won't dwell since you've seen them before. But I will mention that I like this sort of rustic horsey feel to the stitching. I thought it paired well with the pony shirt.

Belt: Hermes (maybe)
I found this one on Ebay. It wasn't ultra cheap, but was cheap enough to think it's probably not authentic. But it's a REALLY nice one if that's the case. The belt itself is a chocolate color, and is alligator. Gorgeous! Possibly a bit manly... but gorgeous none-the-less.

Shoes: unknown brand
I think I found these on Zulilly? Or maybe I got them at H&M? I'm not sure. I've had them a few seasons now, and they've held up pretty well. VERY comfy and I thought they accented the lace at the top of the shirt today. Possibly a bad choice for the weather though! Oops.

Arm party!
Left:
In keeping with my pony theme, I wore all horsey bracelets today! The first is from Zulilly. You've seen it before, it's definitely in my top 10 favorites! Next is my watch, and then a horse shoe bracelet from House of Harlow.

Right:
First up on righty is my photo charm bracelet that you've seen a few times. Those are my ponies on there! The large bangle is one I got on ebay from a nice lady in North Carolina. I'm not sure of a brand, but I love the ponies on it in their blankets. Definitely has an Hermes air about it! (It's also definitely not Hermes!)

That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? How's the weather?
