Happy Outfit Day! It's been in the 80's here for the last week or so, and I am LOVING it! I wish it wasn't ending tonight. But alas, overnight lows in the 40's starting tomorrow. Wah. Anyway, my riding outfit last night matches the Thursday's Threads header so we should definitely start there today, don't you think?
See?? Purple and Teal! Just like my header! And the ponies wore it too! (I'm skipping the helmet today since clearly it's the same one as the last two weeks.)
Shirt: Horze
Do you guys remember when I mentioned in the spring about one of the local tack shops closing because the owners wanted to retire? Well, I guess retirement is boring because they've re-opened, but in a little bit different light. They're only going to be carrying the Horze brands now, so the selections are somewhat limited. I don't mind though, they have some cute lines! I picked this polo shirt up at their grand re-opening this past weekend. I LOVE the plaid on the collar!
Belt: Mane Jane
I know you've seen the green side of this belt a bunch. It's the one that matches my La Mundial boots perfectly. But I'm not sure I've shared this purple side with you yet? I love the tone and the texture on this one, and it's pretty close to the same color as my top!
Breeches: Annie's USA
These are the older version of Annie's with the velcro bottoms and no euro seat in the green tea color. I LOVE the color. And honestly, Annie's breeches are like wearing pj's. SO COMFY!
Socks: Lettia
You'll see shortly that my Lettia socks match the boys' saddle pads. Yeah, I'm a dork. THAT'S NOT NEWS!
Boots: Stivali Romitelli
You guys haven't seen these in a little bit! I still love them despite them being so short. I think this may be my favorite brand of custom boot to date. When the time comes to retire the Parlantis, I think I may get new show boots from this brand. Obviously that won't be anytime soon since I don't show and therefore do not wear the Parlanti boots.
I didn't get to photograph Rio's outfit because my mom called while I was tacking him up. Mom calls last forever generally, so by the time I got off the phone with her, he was already untacked, bathed, and put away. I did steal some stock photos of his accessories though! We'll start with Jampy.
Jampy wore this Lettia baby pad with the cute bow embroidered on it. I love that they do both sides so he has a bow on the left and the right! I'm not sure the brand on the girth. I think they may be from Jack's but not positive. I got them through Tack of the Day. Rio wore an identical girth (just a size bigger). The tendon boots I got several years ago, and they are by Norton.
And here are Rio's accessories:
Rio's pad is Lettia also, but is a regular saddle pad as opposed to a baby pad. He could use a little extra cushion. I love that the bows are actually embroidered all over and aren't just a screen print. His boots are by HKM. I am a big fan of these boots for flatting and have a bunch of colors. They wash and dry too!
Ok, on to today's work outfit!
It's pretty temperate out there today, with highs right around 80, but it's the last day! Tomorrow starts official fall feeling weather. I dressed in layers today because my office is always freezing.
Tank: Modcloth
Cardigan: Haley and the Hound
This tank hangs a little funny on it's own, so once it arrived I went searching for a nice cardigan to wear over it. This one matches almost perfectly! I should have grabbed a better shot of the pony print on this shirt though. It's adorable with blue, pink, green, and yellow horses all over. There are also ribbons sprinkled in too. So cute!
Jeans: Kancan
There's nothing particularly special about these jeans. They're your basic blue. Very stretchy and comfy though!
Shoes: Lucky Brand:
I saw these loafers quite awhile ago on super sale at 6PM.com and jumped on them. Obviously they're playing on the lucky brand theme, but I did secretly wish they both had horse shoes on them. Either way, they're comfy, and I like them very much!
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is wearing the daintiest little wrap bracelet that I'm pretty sure I got from Nicole's Creations, along with my trusty apple watch. He's still wearing his sport band, there's been no discussion of how my leather band is faring... I hope it's gonna make it!
Righty:
Righty is donning a Nicole's Creations sandwich! The gorgeous one in the center came from Nicole and it's sandwiched between two Ettika bracelets. I LOVE the little horse shoe one so much!
That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? How's the weather in your area? Any favorites from today?

Thursday's Threads: the one with the purple boots
It's a gross, rainy, dreary, no fun day here today. And since I put zero effort into my work outfit today, let's just jump right into last night's riding outfit and my new boots, shall we?! We shall.
I had been stalking my boot package all day, and knew they would arrive before I did last night. I was ridiculously excited for them! So obviously, I coordinated my outfit for them. Duh.
Top: Ralph Lauren
Just a basic polo shirt in a lovely lilac color. I don't know if polo shirts are still a thing, but I'm hanging on to them. Classic staple in my closet. Especially for the barn.
Breeches: Smartpak Pipers
These are charcoal with lilac piping and lilac gel for the knee patches. I've heard mixed reviews on these breeches, but I'm pretty happy with mine. I've worn them and washed them a lot, and so far so good.
Belt: Noble Outfitters
I love the embossed horse shoes on here. So cute! It's not quite the same purple as my shirt or the boots, but I went with it anyway. I think it's managing to work.
BOOTS!!!!
Stivali Romitelli
I totally messed up the height on these, and I have no one to blame but myself. But whatever, they're obviously just for schooling, so they'll be fine. You guys, the leather on these is really, really nice. They're soft, but not floppy soft. I wore them around the barn for a bit, and they were completely comfortable the entire time. Nothing was digging in anywhere. I like that even though they are custom, they still have the elastic in the back. I think from now on I'm going to request that in all my boots. Just makes them more comfy. So aside from them being short, I was also a little bummed about the color. I thought I was ordering this color:
Not that same boot, I got the boot I wanted, but I thought the color I ordered would be this kind of pinky purple shade. But when I opened the box they were more gray/purple. I'm a little disappointed since my Fama Lusitano boots are also gray and who needs two pair of gray boots?! But not that disappointed because I still think they're awesome. I checked with the store to make sure it wasn't a mistake and it wasn't. Turns out, I got some false information when I inquired about getting the above color. They did offer me 10% of a future order in their shop to try and make up for it. Not really their fault entirely though, so no hard feelings here. I'll just have to get actual pink boots next time... JOKING! (Maybe. Anymore bad pony news and it could happen. Someone take my credit card!)
Helmet: Charles Owen
I mean.... the boots DO match my helmet pretty perfectly.
Ok, enough with the boots. Here's what I wore to work today:
Yeah. Zero effort. I had to go to the dentist this morning, so I was much more preoccupied with that. It's my first visit since my dentist retired. I hate change. And the dentist. Also, the new guy is about 12 years old. Ugh.
Sweater: Pink Rose
I love the heathered mint color to this sweater and that it's just a little sheer. I wish I hadn't shrunk it up to nothing though. It's really short now!
Jeans: True Religion
Nothing very exciting about these. But they fit GREAT and are super comfy.
Belt: C4
You saw this one last week with a purple buckle on it. Here it is in its original form with a silver buckle. I love how versatile these belts can be.
Shoes: Sperry
Heh... They don't ACTUALLY match the sweater. I thought, eh, close enough when I put them on, but they're really not close at all. They're super fun though with that glittery look to them.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is donning a pretty enamel bangle from C.Wonder. It reminds me of those crazy expensive Hermes ones, but this one was only $24.00.
Righty:
Righty is wearing a quadruple wrap bracelet from Nakamol and a little friendship bracelet from Ettika. I was introduced to Nakamol via Little Black Bag many moons ago, and I really love their pieces. They are delicate and pretty, but really sturdy, and don't seem to fall apart.
That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? Would you be embarrassed by how short my boots are? Or does the crazy color scheme distract from that?

Thursday's Threads
Happy Outfit Day! It's effing cold here you guys. The day started at 28 degrees, and it's been dropping ever since. Plus the wind is blowing at about 25 mph. Lovely day. Wah. Obviously, I know how to dress for such occasions though.
I feel everyone needs to know how I'm feeling. This outfit sums it up pretty well.
Sweatshirt: LC Trendz
I should probably just wear this every day for the rest of my life. This shirt really gets me.
Jeans: DL1961
These jeans are ridiculously comfy. I got them from Moxie.Style in a denim grab bag. They're a little too short, but with boots on, no one can tell. They're super stretchy, but still a nice thick material. Perfect for a miserable day like today.
Boots: Coach
My mom got me these boots a few years ago for Chanukah. You can cuff them and wear them shorter, but I want all the warmth. All of it! Just for me. They are super warm, and I'm very glad I wore them today!
Arm Party!!!
Lefty:
Lefty is wearing two Ettika bracelets and my apple watch. I really love the bracelets from Ettika. They are so well made. You should feel the weight of the stone one. Sturdy!
Righty:
Righty is sporting a braided bracelet from Pura Vida. I think it has a Frozen vibe to it, don't you? The middle bracelet is another weighty piece from Ettika. I love the mixed media on it. And last is a vintage leather and metal bracelet. I'm uncertain of the brand on that one. It doesn't have any markings on it.
So that's what I'm wearing in an effort to not get hypothermia. What do you have on today? How's the weather where you are?

Thursday's Threads!
Happy Outfit day! It's freakin' freezing outside today... No it's not literally actually. But it feels like it. It's about 40, damp, and windy. So it feels like it's freakin' freezing. I opted for casual and cozy today.
It was nearly impossible to photograph the color of this sweater. It's definitely a pretty teal color and not gray like it looks in the top photo. I found this one in a flash sale from Moxie.style. I love how it looks kind of curly.
Jeans: Levis
These have been around awhile. They're a little short, I think maybe they're ankle length? But that's pretty perfect for wearing with tall boots!
Boots: Two Lips
I got these either last year or the year before. I love that you can adjust the height on them. Since it's cold out, I opted to wear them as tall as they go for as much warmth as possible.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is donning a mixed media bracelet from Ettika. I love that the beads are all different shapes. It's nice and heavy too, so it feels like a really quality piece of jewelry. Looks fab with the apple watch too!
Righty:
Righty is wearing all gray bracelets. The first comes from Nicole's creations, and has some purple beads in it though they photo didn't really pick them up well. The other two come from Pura Vida. I can't believe how well these two brands matched each other!
That's what I'm wearing today. Sorry I forgot to photograph my riding outfit last night, but it wasn't anything exciting anyway. I wore my gray Rider's Choice denim breeches and the same sweatshirt I showed you Tuesday but in a dark blue.
What are you wearing? How's the weather where you are?
Sweater weather! Literally! Ha.

Thursday's Threads
Outfit Day!!!! I nearly forgot to take pics of my riding outfit yesterday! Thankfully I remembered before I switched to my jammies. We'll start there this week:
Yes, you're seeing that right. A long sleeve T! NOT a sweatshirt! I think it might actually finally be spring here in CT. Hope it sticks around. Or turns to summer. Either is fine.
Top: OTTB Outfitters
I love this graphic and the saying: "OTTB- So nice, we use them twice". So cute. Unfortunately, these are no longer available as OTTB Outfitters has closed their doors. I'm super sad. I wanted to get Romey some more baby pads and me a short sleeved shirt for summer.
Breeches: ROMFH
I love the subtle baroque print on these. They are REALLY comfy. This was my first pair of ROMFH breeches, and I would definitely order again. I now have these and a brown pair, but I will say they fit totally differently. I sized up to a 30 since I wasn't sure how they ran. This pair fits great even after washing and drying. The brown pair though, I should have ordered my normal size as they are a little big. You just never know with pants!
Belt: LV
LV goes with everything. I liked this light gray color with this outfit. Is this a black and white photo? You can't tell! (No, it's not.)
That's what I wore riding last night. It was such a gorgeous night, and the horses even behaved themselves! Thank you 70 degrees. Today is ridiculous it's so nice out. It's supposed to get up to the high 70's and the sun is shining! I was born for days like this. I HAD to dress accordingly:
Well mostly... I am still wearing a sweater, but it's light weight. How about them floral pants? I thought they would be too much on my larger lower half, but I think they're working. Let's look closer...
Top: Old Navy
I had trouble getting a decent photo of the olive color. This one is a bit washed out. It's a nice olive green. The material is actually ribbon which gives it a springy feeling. I've had this top for YEARS. It's comfy and classy all at the same time.
Pants: Dear John
I was slow to hop back on the floral train. I remember wearing it back when I was a youngster, early 90's I think? And when it first came back last year, I was not into it. Not at all. But I'm coming around. And these pants are pretty perfect. They do have one creepy feature though...
One of the plants has a face! Weird, right? Seems intentional? At least it's a happy face, making it mildly less creepy. Mildly.
Shoes: Sperry TopSider
I warned you that these would appear often. Here they are again! Seriously love these shoes.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is donning a gorgeous rhinestone and metal bracelet from Ettika. The part you can't see is actually ribbon that matches the sweater almost perfectly. I love when that happens.
Righty:
Righty is wearing a couple of stretch bracelets with turtle beads that I made, as well as a gorgeous hemp bracelet from Nicole's Creations. That hemp matches the sweater perfectly! It's like Nicole even knows my wardrobe...
Well, that's what I'm wearing today. What do you have on?
