Thursday's Threads

Happy Outfit Day! You can tell you've reached the end of a season when you stare at your closet for half the morning not wanting to wear any of them. Although a significant part of the problem is that I haven't done laundry in like three weeks... Summer, don't go. I still have plenty of clothes to wear, I just have to wash them! This is what I finally decided on:
Nothing screams professional like rhinestone flip-flips... Right? Ha. Let's look closer!

Top: Loft
I've had this t-shirt for maybe 100 years... Or five. One of those. The real miracle is that I've had a white shirt for that long and it does not yet have any stains. The day is young though.

Jeans: Vineyard Vines
I found these printed jeans at the Vineyard Vines outlet when I accidentally when shopping in Vermont. They were marked down to Cheap Stacie pricing so I had to get them obviously. I really like the pattern and they fit really well. Shocking because Cheap Stacie is also Lazy Stacie and I hadn't tried them on.

Belt: No brand
I wanted to mix things up from the "H" buckle I frequently wear, so I took to ebay to find an "S". I like this one and it fits all of my belts that the "H" usually goes on.

Shoes: Rocket Dog
Still need a pedi... If anyone knows of a mani-pedi place open past seven in my area, please enlighten me! These flops are great. The foot bed is a little soft so they're super comfy. And Rhinestones. Look shiny!

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty has on an anchor wrap bracelet from Pura Vida. I thought the kind of heathered look to it was perfect with these pants! And also you'll recognize the apple watch.

Righty:
Righty is adorned with a couple of stretch bracelets that I cannot recall where they're from. Like really no idea at all... Express maybe? I dunno. Next up is a GORGEOUS macrame bracelet from Nicole's Creations. Don't forget that I'm still reviewing my monthly surprises from Nicole over on Beeju Boxes! Definitely head over there and take a look at the amazing bracelet that came for August! And last is a tiny black and blue anchor bracelet from Pura Vida.

I have a dirty riding outfit for you today too! Not dirty in an inappropriate way, like LITERALLY it's dirty. I forgot what day it was until after I'd started riding, so I was already my typical mess when I took photos.

Posing with Jampy is nearly impossible. He's the itchiest horse I know...

Anyway, let's talk about my riding clothes!

Top: American Eagle
Just a plain old polo shirt in a pretty moss green!

Breeches: Romfh
I think the snake print on these is super fun without being too crazy. I sized up in these since I hadn't bought the brand before, and I didn't need to, so they're a little big. But better too big than too small! I really like the quality of the Romfh breeches, and would definitely buy more.

Belt: Gucci
I am loving the florals this year in fashion. I always was all ew florals. And then wore them briefly in the early 90's. Then I was ewww florals! Until now. Apparently they're cool again, and I am a sheep. But whatever, look how pretty!

So that's what I'm wearing this week! What do you have on? Any favorites featured today?

Thursdays Threads

Outfit Day!!!! And since it's summertime in March, I have a riding outfit today too! Woohoo! Warm weather makes me really happy. Plus I'm all hopped up on coffee... Expect abuse of the exclamation point in this post.
Let's start with last night's riding outfit:
I recently discovered that I can tell my phone to take pictures with my watch! Who knew you could do that? Technology is awesome.
Top: Michael Kors
Before you get all, "You wore Michael Kors in the barn?!" Let me assure you, I got this at Marshalls for like $15.00. I hadn't really planned to wear it riding, but it was so warm, the sweatshirt I had brought was too much.

Breeches: Hoof and Woof
I had never heard of this brand, but saw them on sale for $25.00 when I was buying Romey's halter online. I was just short of free shipping, so threw these in my cart. I love the brown patches! And they're REALLY comfy! They do run a bit snug though.

Boots: Tuffrider Sport Boot
I never get tired of telling everyone how much I love these boots. They're holding up pretty well, though the zippers do fall down. Whatever, I'll take falling zippers in exchange for how ridiculously comfortable these boots are!

Belt: Louis Vuitton
 Or inspired... You don't know!

Helmet: Charles Owen GR8
My comfy everyday custom helmet. I still love this helmet, but I must admit, the Samshield is a better fit. But my sammy doesn't have green and gold piping. So there's that.

And now for today's outfit:
I have the vet coming out after work today so I needed something I could also wear in the barn. Sometimes he forgets to call me with a half hour warning so I don't have time to change.

 Top: Annie's USA

I love Annie's. They make some crazy colored breeches that are soft like jammies. They have also started carrying more tops. When I saw this one on Instagram, I had to have it! I love the plaid that's reminiscent of Burberry, and the tech fabric is so soft. Check out those buttons too! Such a cute feature.

Jeans: Earl Jeans
Oldies but goodies. You've seen these a million times.

Belt: Burberry
Or is it? Again... you don't know!

Shoes: Sperry's
Do you guys see that?! NO SOCKS! No socks in MARCH! I'm loving this crazy weather. I hope it sticks around. I also love these boat shoes. And pretty much all boat shoes.

Righty:
I decided to keep it fairly simple with the arm part today since most bracelets and barn work don't mix well. First is a rhinestone friendship bracelet, that I don't really remember where I got... It's kind of falling apart though, so this may be it's last excursion. The other one is from Pura Vida. I love their bracelets. Not only are they waterproof and pretty much indestructible, but the company has a great mission too.

Lefty:
Lefty is wearing a cute mixed media cuff. It's a metal band (gold), with yarn and rhinestones wrapped around it. So cute! And my trusty iwatch is here today too.
That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? What's the weather like in your area?

Truthful Tuesday

Hello. My name is Stacie, and I'm a shop-a-holic. And thus today's confession is that I bought more boots. Specifically these:
They're from Donald J Pliner. And I think I may love them. As in, if they were a man, I would marry them love. They fit like a glove and are SO COMFY! I've had them a week and already wore them three times. And they haven't tripped me yet like a certain pair of Tory Burch boots... (Sorry TB boots, I promise to stop blaming you for that soon.)
Did I NEED new boots? No, definitely not. But I did pull out FOUR pairs from my collection to give away. So I think it's ok. I still have too many. Feel free to judge. But I regret nothing!

Do you have anything you need to confess today? A growing boot collection perhaps? Tell me all about it in the comments!

Thursday's Threads

Outfit day!!! Admittedly, I'm having a little trouble getting back into the work routine, so I was running pretty late this morning. I did not plan my outfit ahead of time, though I have a million new things I wanted to wear to show you. I picked one, and built a quick outfit around that item.
The boots are what's new. We'll look closer at them shortly, but I will hint that they were involved in my Truthful Tuesday post.

Sweater: 5|48
I honestly don't know if 5|48 is the brand of this, but that's what the tag says. I bought this sweater at Sak's Off 5th I think last year, but possibly the year before? I can't remember! It's a nice sweater, though not quite warm enough for my freezing cold office.

Pants: Express
When the whole coated denim thing started, I was pretty much completely against it. I didn't like the feel of the material at all. But I've since done a complete 180 and love them. I want all the colors I can find! These are more black than the gray they appear in the photo. I like the zipper pockets and the fact that there are slash pockets too. These are currently on clearance at Express, so if you're interested, go grab a pair!

Boots: Tory Burch
Here they are! The boots I bought on vacation! I had to wear them home on the plane since they didn't fit in my luggage. I was sad to leave the box behind! Anyway, these are a gorgeous, soft leather. I really like the emblem at the top, even if Tory's insignia looks a bit like a cross... Not very Jewish of me is it? That's ok. We all know those are T's!

Arm Party!
Lefty:
I know! I'm not used to a different watch either. But I'm really enjoying my new Hermes Apple Watch so we all best get used to it! I'm also wearing an unbranded horse bracelet that I found online someplace. I think it's awfully cute!

Righty:
I could NOT get a decent photo of these bracelets! They are just too shiny for nice pictures I guess. Anyway, up first is an H bracelet, followed by a cuff from the Tory Burch outlet, and lastly, the Rebecca Minkoff that my sister-in-law gave me last year. I love these three together!

So that's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? Have a favorite item from today? Find any great deals during this after the holidays sale season? Tell me in the comments!

Thursday's Threads

Happy Outfit Day everyone! I'm not entirely sure my pants today are work appropriate... but I have been dying to wear them. So I did.
This photo is terrible. The lighting was awful in my room this morning. Dreary day!

Pants: Suede
These are a hunter green coated denim. I LOVE them. I was worried they might be small as they looked teeny tiny, but they are very stretchy and don't make me look too much like I'm wearing a sausage casing.

Top: Freshman
Scarf: Lava Accessories
This scarf and these pants were meant to be worn together! I went with a thin knit top because it's supposed to be in the upper 50's/low 60's today. (This weather is crazy for December, but I'll definitely take it!) I did want a little longer, more tunic type top to wear, but none of what I had was the right color. I may need to go shopping! (No. No I do not need to do that.)

Boots: Nine West
These look kind of purple in this photo, but I assure you, they are chocolate brown. I had all but forgotten about them until this morning when I was scrambling to find some shoes to wear. I think they're perfect with this outfit!

Arm Party!
Lefty:
I might have accidentally ordered myself some presents from Ettika whilst shopping online for holiday gifts. It might have even happened twice. What? I can't resist 90% off! My reason for telling you that, is the first bracelet there might have come from the first accidental order. I love the mixed media on this, especially since it's hunter green and gold! And as alwasy, you'll recognize my favorite watch.

Righty:
First up here on righty is a stretch bracelet I made earlier this year. The middle one is a chevron bracelet also from Ettika. This one came from Little Black Bag though. Remember them?! Still miss them. So. Much. Why has no one reinvented that platform? And lastly is another of my indiscretions from my accidental Ettika shopping. I love the giant green stones on this one! The beads are both silver and gold so this will match so many things! Totally a good decision... Right?

So that's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? How's the weather where you live?

Thursday's Threads!

Happy Thursday! It's OUTFIT DAY! I'm cheating a little this week. I had a rule when I started Thursday's Threads that I HAD to post whatever I was wearing that day. Even if it was pajamas. But today I am breaking that rule. Not because today's outfit isn't cute, but because I LOVED yesterday's outfit so much I wanted to share that one instead. So without further ado... Here's what I wore yesterday:

Cute right? I think I have a different pair of boots I'd like better with the outfit, but these worked okay too. The top and pants both came from Moxie.style but neither are still available. Sorry to rain on your shopping parade. Let's look closer!

Sweater: Le Lis

Moxie.style sells mystery boxes where you place an order and have no idea what you're getting. It's a little risky, sure, but you can always return what you don't like. Anyway, when I pulled this sweater out of my box awhile back, I was NOT a fan. I thought ehhh... I don't do poncho or poncho-like tops. But then I put it on. And I fell in love. I wish I could wear this every day. Seriously. So warm and comfy!

Shirt: Old Navy
Since it was freezing yesterday, I wore this long sleeve waffle tee under the sweater. This one is a million years old, but I'm sure you could find something similar at Old Navy today! I love these for layering. They're inexpensive but wear and wash well.

Pants: Beulah
Sorry for the linty pic. I didn't have time to lint brush in the morning, and clearly I washed these with something fuzzy. Oops. That aside, these pants are really fun. They have stitching around the knees for that "moto" look, as well as some faux leather around the waistband and pockets. They even have zippers at the ankles! So 80's chic. Love!

Boots: Two Lips
I found these a couple of years ago on closeout for next to nothing. They're real suede, and incredibly comfortable.

Scarf: Unsure of brand
This is actually black, sorry for the awful photo. Sometimes they look great on the phone, then you stick the picture in the blog post, and boom! Terrible photo. Oh well. Anyway this is an acrylic infinity scarf. Nice and warm for my freezing cold office.

Lefty:
Lefty has a secret. This is pretty much what Lefty wears every day. Things usually get changed up on Thursday just for you guys. So as you already know, here is my KEEP Collective bracelet and my trusty timepiece.

Righty:
This bracelet is ridiculous. I found it for 80% off on the Ettika website last week. I LOVE it! I now wish I'd gotten some other colors. Their pieces are always really sturdy and well made. They advertise as BOHO, but I think this piece could work for any style. So fun!

Bonus Riding Outfit Today!
I took pictures after I rode and groomed the horses... so I'm filthy. These aren't bad photos, that's actual dust. You can call my Pigpen if you'd like.

Breeches: Custom Riding Apparel
The lady at the booth told me I really didn't need to size up in these. But my normal size looked really small and I was too lazy to try on so I did anyway. And she was right. But I'd rather my pants be a little loose than too tight, so I don't mind. I'll try drying them and see what happens. How amazing are these plaid breeches though?! So excited I have them!

Fleece: Old Navy
This is ancient. And I love it. It's very lightweight so fits well under a vest. It's starting to look its age, but I'm not ready to let go of it.

Vest: Old Navy
So truth is, I forgot to bring warm enough clothes to ride the other night, and was too lazy to go back in the house. I found this vest in my car. I keep it there for such emergencies. I hope I remember to put it back... This vest is also super old. It's not the fun lightweight down that is popular these days, but it is SO WARM! I hope to keep it forever.

That's what I wore this week... (Nope, not what I'm wearing today. I'm such a rebel.) Do you have a favorite item from today? What are you wearing? How's the weather? Talk to me in the comments!
