Outfit Day!!!!!!!! I hope you all like lumberjacks cause that's going to be a prevalent theme this season. Without further ado, Lumberjack outfit:

I think the furry boots are overkill today though since it turned out to be 70 degrees here. Oops. It's ok though, it's never warm in my office!

Shirt: Ambiance

This is a nice light weight flannel shirt. Perfect for fall. Come winter I might layer it under a sweater.

Jeans: Earl Jeans

I've worn these roughly five thousand times for Thursdays threads. So we won't linger. I'll just mention how comfy they are and that they are like the magical pants from that movie that fit every size person.

Boots:

These cozy boots are from Woolworth. I really love when my plaids match.... As I mentioned above, these are a bit too warm for the day, but I have no regrets. Sweaty feet maybe, but no regrets.

Arm party!
Lefty:

 Lefty kept it simple today and chose not to pair Apple Watch with anything. Sometimes lefty just wants to tell the time.

Righty:

On the other hand (LOL! See what I did there?!), Righty wanted to be fancy. So that wrist is sporting an H clic-clac bracelet, followed by a bow bracelet from Kate Spade, and one of my most favorites there at the end. That's the one by Rebeccah Minkoff that my sister-in-law gave me awhile back.

I remembered to grab pics of last night's riding outfit for you too. Last night I threw it back preppy style with some corduroy and elbow patches.

Whenever I see corduroy and elbow patches I think of Family Ties. Most of you are probably too young to even know what that is, but it was a pretty great sitcom when I was a kid. It took place in the 80's (obviously) and corduroy blazers with elbow patches were totally on trend. When I saw these breeches on sale, that's the first thing I thought of. The second thing was, I wonder if they have my size?

Sweater: Ariat

I've probably worn this on here before. It's actually more hunter green than it looks in this photo. I love the tan elbows!

Breeches: Horseware

Seriously though, did you now they made these? I don't think I've ever seen them before. I love that they're corduroy. And I extra love the piped pockets. They're very stretchy and comfy too. I could wear them all the time. My boots are already on, but they have sock bottoms too, so no velcro!

Belt: Lilo

I don't really remember how I stumbled across this one, but it was a great find. I mean, it's my barn colors for one thing, and it has PONIES on it! AND a spur buckle. There's nothing to not love. Nothing.

Boots: Horka

Ok, I'll admit it. These were a bit extra snug with these breeches. But no feet lost circulation so it wasn't TOO bad. I really need to wear them more though, they still aren't quite broken in.

Thursdays Threads

Outfit Day!!!! And since it's summertime in March, I have a riding outfit today too! Woohoo! Warm weather makes me really happy. Plus I'm all hopped up on coffee... Expect abuse of the exclamation point in this post.
Let's start with last night's riding outfit:

 I recently discovered that I can tell my phone to take pictures with my watch! Who knew you could do that? Technology is awesome.
Top: Michael Kors

 Before you get all, "You wore Michael Kors in the barn?!" Let me assure you, I got this at Marshalls for like $15.00. I hadn't really planned to wear it riding, but it was so warm, the sweatshirt I had brought was too much.

Breeches: Hoof and Woof

 I had never heard of this brand, but saw them on sale for $25.00 when I was buying Romey's halter online. I was just short of free shipping, so threw these in my cart. I love the brown patches! And they're REALLY comfy! They do run a bit snug though.

Boots: Tuffrider Sport Boot

 I never get tired of telling everyone how much I love these boots. They're holding up pretty well, though the zippers do fall down. Whatever, I'll take falling zippers in exchange for how ridiculously comfortable these boots are!

Belt: Louis Vuitton

 Or inspired... You don't know!

Helmet: Charles Owen GR8

My comfy everyday custom helmet. I still love this helmet, but I must admit, the Samshield is a better fit. But my sammy doesn't have green and gold piping. So there's that.

And now for today's outfit:

 I have the vet coming out after work today so I needed something I could also wear in the barn. Sometimes he forgets to call me with a half hour warning so I don't have time to change.

 Top: Annie's USA

 I love Annie's. They make some crazy colored breeches that are soft like jammies. They have also started carrying more tops. When I saw this one on Instagram, I had to have it! I love the plaid that's reminiscent of Burberry, and the tech fabric is so soft. Check out those buttons too! Such a cute feature.

Jeans: Earl Jeans

 Oldies but goodies. You've seen these a million times.

Belt: Burberry

 Or is it? Again... you don't know!

Shoes: Sperry's

 Do you guys see that?! NO SOCKS! No socks in MARCH! I'm loving this crazy weather. I hope it sticks around. I also love these boat shoes. And pretty much all boat shoes.

Righty:

 I decided to keep it fairly simple with the arm part today since most bracelets and barn work don't mix well. First is a rhinestone friendship bracelet, that I don't really remember where I got... It's kind of falling apart though, so this may be it's last excursion. The other one is from Pura Vida. I love their bracelets. Not only are they waterproof and pretty much indestructible, but the company has a great mission too.

Lefty:

Lefty is wearing a cute mixed media cuff. It's a metal band (gold), with yarn and rhinestones wrapped around it. So cute! And my trusty iwatch is here today too.

Thursday's Threads: Travel Edition

Back to the frozen north today! So layers it is! Here's how I started the day:

Yep. Three quarter sleeves and jeans. Not bad for January right?! I later added a sweater for the trip north where it was actually not as cold as the last time I came back.

Shirt: Old Navy

 I ordered this top online from Old Navy when they suckered me into their after Christmas sale. (Not hard to do really...) I just couldn't resist a button down top that was hunter green!

Jeans: Earl Jeans

 These are oldies. And oddly tighter than I remember... Has to be the jeans... Couldn't possibly be all the vacation eating I've been doing right?!

Shoes: Sperry Topsiders

 When in Florida, do as the Floridians do! And by that, I mean wear boat shoes. Especially green ones.

Sweater: Cynthia Rowley

I found this sweater I think last year on clearance at Marshalls. I love that it's hunter, black and gray. I was so excited when I realized how great it would be with my green shirt! Perfect for a day of traveling!

I didn't dress up the arms today since too many jewels takes too long at security. But I will surely have a super fun arm party for you next week!

Thursday's Threads

It's OUTFIT day! A rainy one at that. But let me tell you, it hasn't rained here in almost two weeks. We really need it. My riding arena is like the Sahara. And the horses are actually spooking at their own dust clouds. Ridiculous. So without further ado, here are today's outfits!

Work Outfit:

I needed something easy, yet respectable today. I got home at 1:00 AM from the Yankee Game last night, and outfit planning was far too tricky today.

Top: 12PM by Mon Ami

I'm so in love with this top. It's a dolman, which is hard to see because the bottom really blends right into my jeans. I got this one from Moxie.style and I completely love it! This was part of a special promotion they were running called FAME, and I don't think will be available on the website. But it might. We'll find out in a few weeks!

Pants: Earl Jeans

These are oldies but goodies and have been on the blog lots of times. Everyone needs a pair of black skinny jeans in their closet. At least one.

Shoes: Nine West

These are also oldies but goodies! Black ballet shoes are an important staple for any working lady. I think most Nine West shoes are insanely comfortable. Also, I live about 15 minutes from two different Nine West outlets so they are also really affordable. (Please excuse the bug bites on my feet.)

Arm Party!
Lefty:

I know! I wore a different watch today! Just keeping you all on your toes. First we have some stretch bracelets from the now defunct Little Black Bag. They came with a gold one also, but I decided to stick with the gunmetal and silver today. Next is a rhinestone bracelet from Stella and Dot. And lastly is my A-Line watch. That bad boy retailed for something ridiculous like $650, but I got it from Rue La La for $79 about three years ago. It's on its second battery, but it's a great watch!

Right:

The first two both come from Express... I think. The first one definitely. The middle one possibly not. But I can't remember where it is from if not Express... so we'll just go with that. The last one is one I put together myself. The bangle and the bead both came from my favorite online bead store: Goodybeads.com

Riding Outfit:

This might be one of my most favorite yet.

Top: Tory Burch

Why yes, those ARE well dressed ponies on my t-shirt, thanks for noticing! This was the most amazing Tory Burch print ever created. Hands down. I also bought the shirt dress and the tote bag in this pattern. How could I not? And before you judge too hard, I got them all on end of season clearance at 60% off. Best purchases ever.

Breeches: Grand Prix

These are your basic schooling breech. Cotton blend, nice navy color, euroseat. They're very comfy!

Belt: No brand

So the H buckle is one of my ebay finds of long ago. It came on a black leather belt. This orange ostrich pattern belt is also from ebay. I'm not sure if there's a brand on it? But I think it looks awesome with my H buckle! I call this Hermes-ish.

Thursday's Threads

This is some kind of evil joke right? 24, feels like 18 degrees? Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow? WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
On the bright side, I was finally able to wear one of the outfits I've been hoping to don for awhile now. I won't keep you in suspense, here it is:

I thought about wearing different pants... I have some purple coated denim pants that would look pretty cute with the sweater. But when put together with the accessories, it was a bit over the top. Even for me. So I went with black. Let's look closer!

Sweater: Lucy Paris

I actually went hunting for the sweater after I bought the belt you'll see below. I couldn't believe it was actually in existence, AND I was able to find it on sale. All wins in my book! I wound up getting this sweater from a little boutique in Brooklyn who happens to sell online as well. Lucky for me, since it's a one day shipping point! I'm completely obsessed with this oil slick look. I think it became trendy last year, but I just caught on.

Pants: Earl Jeans

I was sure you'd all seen these before, so I didn't take a picture, but then I couldn't find where I'd posted them... So I took this quick. They're just black skinny jeans with rhinestone embellished pockets.

Shoes: Steve Madden

Obviously once I found the sweater, I needed oil slick shoes too... You'd be surprised how hard it is to find such a thing. So when I stumbled across these beauties from Steve Madden, I HAD to have them. Problem was, they were super pricey, and mostly sold out in my size. Thankfully, ebay came through for me. I found them for $28.00 shipped. Miracles DO happen!

Belt: No brand

Ah... the belt that started it all! I found this belt at Marshall's when I was in FL in December. I then found a matching clutch at the Tory Burch outlet, but I didn't use it today. Why you ask? Because I was super late and didn't have time to find it. Story of my life! This is why you should plan ahead. Anyway, the belt is super fun, and has this oil slick/mermaid effect happening. From some angles it looks purple and others it's green. I love it so much! The Tory Burch clutch does the same thing, but it's saffiano leather rather than this snakeskin print. Sorry I can't show you today.

Jewels:
Necklace: Stacie Original

Sometimes I like to go on ebay, pick a search word, and find things that are under $5.00. It's a fun game. That's how I found these horse head pendants. In OIL SLICK finish! Lucky me! They came in a pack of three for $2.19. Shipped. Bargain! I had the two beads and the ball chain around and voila! New necklace to match my outfit.

Arm Candy:
Left:

More Stacie Originals here! The first is a faux leather bracelet with oils slick ceramic beads. The second is a leather bracelet with holographic beads. Not to brag.... But I love them! And you'll recognize my watch of course.

Right:

I put together the chain bracelet from a necklace I got from Deb. I like how it came out, very simple, but fun with that oil slick finish again. The middle bracelet I put together from a bunch of random beads I found laying around. The last one I actually did buy from my favorite online bead shop.

Mittens:

As luck would have it, while I was sorting through clearance one day at Marshalls, I found these convertible mittens that match my sweater. Can you believe it? I had no idea such a thing existed, and there they were for me to find! For $3.00! Yeah, obviously I didn't think twice about them. Sad I have to wear them on March 19th though...
