Outfit day! It's still winter here, despite us seeing 50 degrees sporadically recently. It would be SUPER if winter stayed like that until spring. (Sorry I know... global warming bad. But warm Stacie good!) So I went with cozy for last night's ride.

It wasn't SO cold that I needed the fuzzy boots. The day was actually pretty warm, but the temps were falling quickly once the sun went down.

Helmet: One K

Same old. I know... But hey. Convenience.

Top: Herd of Zebras

I have a few fluffy sweatshirts like this, but a lot of them aren't actually warm. The wind and cold seems to go right through them. This one though? This thing is SO warm. Big fan! But not to be worn if you're handling shavings. Good luck getting them off.

Belt: Mane Jane

I did the light gray strap with the rose gold buckle for this outfit.

Breeches: Noble Outfitters

Noble Outfitters is going to be sold exclusively at Dover moving forward, so you'll see their stuff being closed out pretty much everyplace else. I snagged these from somewhere for super cheap. They are the winter lined softshell style. I may grab a tan pair if I see them again.

Boots: De Niro

Putting these navy ones to WORK to see how their zippers will survive everyday use. So far so good. And update on the black pair: The new zippers arrived yesterday. I haven't yet really researched where to get them fixed, but Ashley gave me a good somewhat local lead, so I'll probably check them out first. Not sure when though.

So that's what I wore last night to ride Miss Shiny pants! And I have a shiny work outfit to share too... (See what I did there?) You will...

Top: Silence + Noise

It's really hard to photograph the fun oil click effect on this sweater, but it's basically the same as that bracelet there in front. I'm not sure why I love this oil slick stuff so much, but I just do!

Belt: Mane Jane

I've been unsuccessful finding an oil slick belt, but I have found some hardware so I'm planning on making one at some point. In the meantime, I went simple with this black belt strap and gunmetal buckle.

Jeans: Vintage America Blues

These are a gray with vintage wash stretchy denim. Cute and super comfy.

Shoes: Keds

I know! They're amazing. And Keds so obviously comfy too.

Arm Party!
Lefty:

Lefty is wearing a bangle bracelet that I put together. The bracelet part came from Etsy, and the unicorn charm is from Coach. Along with that are my tech; the Fitbit and the apple watch.

Righty:

Righty is wearing that super fun vintage snakeskin bangle along with a memory wire bracelet I made, and a cuff that I think came from Poshmark.

Welp... still no riding clothes to share with you guys. Cause you know....

It's not even pretty anymore. In protest I wore the biggest comfiest sweater I could find. Kind of backfired cause it's certainly not slimming... but I'm comfy! Anyway, here's what I have on today to keep me warm on this faux spring day:

I'm really ready to start busting out the spring attire. Let's hope next week the seasons figure out their argument and things return to normal!

Sweater: Ralph Lauren

I found this guy during the great closet purge of 2018. It was a good find! It's just a cotton knit, which means a few things: It's comfy, it's cozy, AND I can wash and dry it! Although, I probably won't dry it, because RL sweaters shrink like nothing I've ever seen.

Belt: LV

This was an Ebay find, and to be honest, I very strongly question it's authenticity based on what I paid for it. But it's cute and is doing a nice job of holding up my pants.

Jeans: Levi

While certainly not the most flattering pants I own, I think these are awesome. They have an oil slick finish not that dissimilar to our favorite unicorn stirrups and spurs! Look! SHINY!

Boots: Nature Breeze

These are my go-to snow day boots. Well these and the same pair in brown, just depending on what I'm wearing that day. They are vinyl with rubber feet, and a lovely fuzzy lining. Best $21 I ever spent!

Lefty:

Left is sporting a cuff bracelet that I made. It's part of a full stack, but I decided to keep it simple today.

Righty:

Righty is wearing a stack of bracelets that I made awhile ago. The first two are just stretch bracelets, and the last one was actually a necklace that I took apart and made into a bracelet.

This is some kind of evil joke right? 24, feels like 18 degrees? Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow? WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
On the bright side, I was finally able to wear one of the outfits I've been hoping to don for awhile now. I won't keep you in suspense, here it is:

I thought about wearing different pants... I have some purple coated denim pants that would look pretty cute with the sweater. But when put together with the accessories, it was a bit over the top. Even for me. So I went with black. Let's look closer!

Sweater: Lucy Paris

I actually went hunting for the sweater after I bought the belt you'll see below. I couldn't believe it was actually in existence, AND I was able to find it on sale. All wins in my book! I wound up getting this sweater from a little boutique in Brooklyn who happens to sell online as well. Lucky for me, since it's a one day shipping point! I'm completely obsessed with this oil slick look. I think it became trendy last year, but I just caught on.

Pants: Earl Jeans

I was sure you'd all seen these before, so I didn't take a picture, but then I couldn't find where I'd posted them... So I took this quick. They're just black skinny jeans with rhinestone embellished pockets.

Shoes: Steve Madden

Obviously once I found the sweater, I needed oil slick shoes too... You'd be surprised how hard it is to find such a thing. So when I stumbled across these beauties from Steve Madden, I HAD to have them. Problem was, they were super pricey, and mostly sold out in my size. Thankfully, ebay came through for me. I found them for $28.00 shipped. Miracles DO happen!

Belt: No brand

Ah... the belt that started it all! I found this belt at Marshall's when I was in FL in December. I then found a matching clutch at the Tory Burch outlet, but I didn't use it today. Why you ask? Because I was super late and didn't have time to find it. Story of my life! This is why you should plan ahead. Anyway, the belt is super fun, and has this oil slick/mermaid effect happening. From some angles it looks purple and others it's green. I love it so much! The Tory Burch clutch does the same thing, but it's saffiano leather rather than this snakeskin print. Sorry I can't show you today.

Necklace: Stacie Original

Sometimes I like to go on ebay, pick a search word, and find things that are under $5.00. It's a fun game. That's how I found these horse head pendants. In OIL SLICK finish! Lucky me! They came in a pack of three for $2.19. Shipped. Bargain! I had the two beads and the ball chain around and voila! New necklace to match my outfit.

Arm Candy:
Left:

More Stacie Originals here! The first is a faux leather bracelet with oils slick ceramic beads. The second is a leather bracelet with holographic beads. Not to brag.... But I love them! And you'll recognize my watch of course.

Right:

I put together the chain bracelet from a necklace I got from Deb. I like how it came out, very simple, but fun with that oil slick finish again. The middle bracelet I put together from a bunch of random beads I found laying around. The last one I actually did buy from my favorite online bead shop.

Mittens:

As luck would have it, while I was sorting through clearance one day at Marshalls, I found these convertible mittens that match my sweater. Can you believe it? I had no idea such a thing existed, and there they were for me to find! For $3.00! Yeah, obviously I didn't think twice about them. Sad I have to wear them on March 19th though...
