It's a short post today because sadly I have no riding outfit to share this week. I was really excited that I would get to ride over the weekend, but this is the current situation over here today:
Gross. With highs in the 20's for the next couple of days, riding by Sunday doesn't look good. It's pretty slippery out there and they don't get their winter shoes until next week. But I do have a cute work outfit to share today!
We've had corporate people here this week so we're on the no jeans policy. Of course, I haven't seen a one of them, so probably could have just gone the jeans route afterall. But I'm a good rule follower so here I am in my dress pants for the third day in a row.
Sweater: Tommy Hilfiger
I'm loving this sweater! It's like a sweater/cape hybrid. I especially love that it has sleeves, and the slits aren't super high on the sides. Very cozy!
Pants: Tommy Hilfiger
These are nifty little dress pants. They're almost like fancy leggings... But much thicker. Maybe more like fancy yoga pants? Either way... they're super comfy like jammies but LOOK like dress pants. And they are flattering, no lumps or bumps evident. (And believe me, I have plenty.)
Shoes: Boemos
So admittedly, I picked up the outfit whilst out holiday shopping on Monday night. And I had shoes I knew I could wear with it... But then at my last stop that night (TJ Maxx) I saw these shiny, blue, leather booties and well... I knew they'd be perfect with the outfit. So I got them too. Happy Chanukah to me?
Arm Party:
Lefty:
Lefty is wearing a pretty little braided leather wrap bracelet from Fornash along with my apple watch. Generally, I don't like to purchase things I can make myself, but this was on closeout for much cheaper than I could make it!
Righty:
I have a bunch of gold and lapiz jewelry because it matched my old watch. And it looks great with my navy outfit today! First up is a stretch bracelet that I put together myself, followed by a little rhinestone wrap bracelet from Fornash, and a cuff that I think came from Zulily.
And that's it for today! I'm hoping really hard to get to ride by Sunday, so maybe I can have a riding outfit next week... Any favorites from today? How's the weather where you are?

Thursday's Threads!
Outfit Day!!!! I know it's late, my apologies... It was a busy day! Despite not riding again on Wednesday (I had to break my Yom Kippur fast with the family), I did remember to take pictures of my riding outfit on Tuesday. So let's start with that!
Such a classy amateur I was on Tuesday! And by that I mean too lazy to fully change out of work clothes... Let's look closer!
Sweater: Ariat
My dad and stepmom gave me this sweater for my birthday in April along with the shirt underneath. I love the yellow stitching on the elbows! I also love that this sweater is machine washable.
Top: Ariat
How cute is this pony print button down?! Yellow isn't the best color on me, so I haven't worn it without the sweater, but it's the cutest top ever. I wish it came in other colors... Ariat, if you're reading this, more colors please!
Breeches: Smartpak
I'm certain you've seen these before. They are denim breeches that I got on sale in the spring. I like them, but they do that saggy crotch thing I hate when I'm not riding. Thus, it's a like and not a love. They're very comfy to ride in though.
Belt: Mane Jane
I have so much love for Mane Jane. Currently they have a gorgeous pink belt for sale with proceeds going to breast cancer research. Head over there and get one!
Boots: TuffRider Regals
I've retired the sport boots as the zippers were no longer staying up. They're in otherwise good condition though, so maybe I'll just try replacing the zippers? Not sure. Regardless, the Regals are my current go-to everyday boots. So comfy!
Ok, now on to my work outfit for today:
I think I had ponies on my mind after not riding Wednesday.
Top: Haley and the Hound
I actually discovered this brand via Zulily, but then this summer I saw some of the mobile tack stores carrying it at Vermont. I love the horsey themed items they have, and I hope they come out with some more! I especially love that the buttons have dogs on them:
So cute!
Jeans: Rue21
I'm a sucker for inexpensive denim. These are surprisingly perfect in that they fit great and are even the right length for me! Shocking!
Boots: Steve Madden kids
These light blue boots are crazy cute! They're almost like pastel paddock boots. And yes, I have ridiculously small feet and can wear children's shoes.
Arm party!
Lefty:
I hope you all love the Gucci bit bracelet as much as I do cause it's gonna be on here a lot... Next to that one is a vintage bangle from ebay, and last but not least is my apple watch.
Righty:
Righty is sporting a Tory Burch wrap bracelet that I got in Florida last year along with a bit bangle from Fornash. They both matched the top so well!
That's what I wore today (and yesterday). What do you have on today? Have any favorites from today's features?

Thursday's Threads!
Outfit Day!!! I'll admit, outfit day is a bit weak today. Someone did NOT do their homework... But let's look anyway, shall we?
Riding outfit first!
Since it's we're one day away from an official heat wave, I opted for a tank top last night. We've discussed my views on riding in tank tops already, and I will reiterate that riding in my backyard where no one sees me is the only reason I find it acceptable. That and well.. party shirt!
Tank: Rue 21
I love everything about this ridiculous shirt. The palm trees, the colors... EVERYTHING. Plus it's from Rue 21 so it was cheap.
Breeches: I forget what brand these are!
These are some oldies I had gotten at a tent sale a few years back. I meant to take a mental note of the brand last night. But I didn't. Or if I did, I can't remember. They're the old fabric, made up mostly of cotton. Very comfy, not so stylish anymore. Don't care though! Comfy for the win!
Belt: World's worst knock-off Gucci
It's really bad. Like REALLY bad. But I had a shortage of white belts in the closet, so it fits that bill.
Ok, on to my work outfit!
So actually I had planned to wear a super cute short sleeved dress with ponies on it. But when I put it on this morning, I realized it was a little too short to be work appropriate. I think it was about as long as this skirt, but it was flowey... it just wasn't going to work for a business setting. Not that this is much better I guess. But I was running out of time!
Top: Rue 21
Pretty much anytime I find a pony shirt at a non-pony venue I will buy it. Nearly every time. Even this one that might actually be the worst color for my skin tone. But as above... DON'T CARE! 'Cause PONIES!
Skirt: Golden Tote
Ok... I know Golden Tote isn't the brand on this skirt. But that IS where I got it, and I can't remember who actually makes it. Close enough anyway. I like this skirt, it's stretchy and comfy.
Shoes: Diba
I think you've seen these already? No? Maybe? They're from Zulilly and I love them. They remind me of my youth when everyone wore Hurachi shoes, but I like the gold upgrade to these. They're the softest leather too!
Arm party!
Lefty:
Lefty kept it simple. I wore my adorable pony bangle in keeping with my horsey theme accompanied by my apple watch.
Righty:
Righty wanted to keep with the horse theme without also wearing horses. So I went with bits! First up is a cuff bracelet that I think came from Sloan Ranger... but it might have been Fornash. The middle one is definitely from Fornash, and the last was from Baublebar awhile back.
And that's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? Is it getting summery in your neck of the woods? Opinions on buying pony shirts everywhere?

Thursday's Threads!
Outfit Day! And it's pretty much over already. Sorry. Work is crazy lately! Without further ado here's what I'm wearing:
And here it is ready for the great outdoors:
This jacket is my everything lately. It's super cozy and so, so, SO soft! All faux everything so I don't have to worry about it getting wet in the rain that won't stop. I'm not doing a special photo on the jacket, but it's from Modcloth if you want to grab one for yourself!
Ok, let's look closer:
Sweater: The Classic
I saw this one on Zulilly recently and clicked buy before I even thought about it. Such a good plan. I love the color, the fit, everything! It's warm and cozy. Perfect for winter! And soft too. Love me some man-made yarn.
Jeans: Unionbay
I know you've seen these a gazillion times. They're really thin and stretchy. Might even be considered jeggings? But they have a button and zip fly closure, so to me, that makes them jeans. Really comfy jeans!
Belt: LV
Fancy schmancy... I love a good leather belt. Sorry vegan friends.
Boots: Tommy Hilfiger
These boots! Go find a pair. Seriously. They're ridiculously warm. And comfortable. I also found these on Zulilly. They weren't super cheap, but I see myself wearing them A LOT. They are also all faux everything so the elements shouldn't ruin them.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Nothing new here today. I wore my small gold H bracelet with my leather Hermes wrap bracelet and my trusty watch. I think it's pretty classy!
Righty:
Righty is donning a leather and chain bracelet from Fornash. The leather is really pretty, it's a shimmery rose gold. The other bracelet is from Tory Burch. Also leather, but no shimmer to it. I love both of them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice they look together.
So that's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? How's the weather by you?

Thursday's Threads
Happy Thursday everyone! I'm having another DAY at work... ugh. But am trying to write this post in between phone calls and being yelled at. If it seems disjointed... well.. that's because it is. Anyway, let's take a look at some clothes!
Here's what I'm wearing at work today:
I'm trying to wear white as much as I can since Labor Day is fast approaching! I will say though, this was totally a poor outfit choice as it's utterly arctic in my office today. Good thing I have a blankie. And fingerless mittens. And an ear warmer. Brrr.
Top: Le Lis
I got this beauty from the Moxie.Style sale. I LOVE it! I just learned about this brand this past year, and I really like what they have to offer. The materials are high quality, and the fit is fantastic. Navy and giant polka dots is so fun for summer too!
Belt: No brand
This photo came out dark, but the belt is navy leather. I know NORMALLY it's nautical stripes you pair with an anchor belt, but I thought these dots worked with it too.
Pants: Vigold Jeans
This is one of my favorite jeans brands. They just fit me really well and the length is pretty close to perfect. It doesn't hurt that they're on the cheaper end of the spectrum too!
Shoes: Rocket Dog
You saw these just a couple of weeks ago. They were definitely a good buy as they're getting plenty of wear! I do wish I had some socks on in here though. I'm so cold! I really wish the A/C would take a break. It's not hot out today! Ugh.
Arm Party:
Lefty:
Lefty is really embracing this look... I haven't changed it up at all in days! I love this KEEP Collective leather bracelet, and it's soooo perfect with my watch! Love love love!
Righty:
Righty is clearly embracing what's left of summer. (I'm with you righty. Hang on to it tightly!) Sunnies bracelet by Kate Spade, leather and chain wrap bracelet by Ettika, and a lobster bangle from Fornash.
Bonus:
Riding outfit!
I'm not sure why I can't seem to resist breeches on sale... But I can't. So here's a cute new outfit to talk about!
Tops: Old Navy Tanks
I never used to wear tanks to ride. As a boarder, I've always been very much in favor of looking proper in a collared shirt, tucked in. But since I ride in my backyard now, if it's hot, I'm wearing a tank! My less obvious farmer's tan thanks me. Anyway, these are from Old Navy. Super inexpensive and available in a wide array of colors. I usually stock up in the springtime.
Belt: No brand
Socks: Betsey Johnson
I don't normally call out my boot socks, but these are so fun, I had to share. They actually have some metallic thread through them which doesn't really show in the photo. They matched so perfectly with my outfit! Too bad I had to cover them up with boots...
Well.. that's it for today! What's your favorite from above? What are you wearing? Is it an arctic tundra in your office too?

You have seen this one before, not all that long ago. It came from Ebay and is probably supposed to be an Hermes knockoff. But it's not really... I've never seen an Hermes like this anyway. I like it, the edges of the buckle are actually gold. Cute!
Breeches: Ariat
My favorite local tack shop, Reins, is clearing out their summer merchandise to make way for fall and winter, so I jumped at the chance to get these at 40% off! Ariat breeches are probably the best fitting for my body type, but are pretty pricey when not on sale. I am so in love with these! I wish they came in more color combinations. Or maybe they do? I will have to go hunting!Socks: Betsey Johnson
