Happy outfit day everyone! I decided to have some fun with both outfits this week, cause when life gets stressful, you have to find ways to lighten the mood. We'll start with last night's riding outfit.
It was warm enough to not wear a jacket last night. I hope it lasts.
Helmet: One K
I totally should have brought greenie over for last night's ride. But I didn't.
Sweatshirt: Nantucket
This photo clearly comes post ride... Plenty of dirt and hair to be seen at this point. Though the lighting was weird, I took the helmet photo and this one at the same time, so it's not nearly as dirty as it appears!
Belt: Pony Locks
I took Jampy with me to the barn last night. I really love this belt. And I am getting SO EXCITED for Rio's belt to come. I ordered his from someone on Etsy, and we've been working together on a one of a kind design. I got a sneak peak the other day, and it's AMAZING. Look:
I really can't wait for the finished product.
Breeches: Horseware
I just really love corduroy breeches for the winter. I have these in two colors, and then grabbed all three that Dover did this season too. #hoarder
Boots: Celeris UK
Figured it was time to break out the cow boots again. I really love these. SO much. They're ridiculous in all the best ways.
So that's what I wore to ride last night, but today? Today I'm wearing all the unicorns. Cause I need some magic in my work life.
This photo includes 3/4 of Pia as well... I mistakenly deleted the better photo... Oops. Sorry girl for only showing your bum!
Sweater: Asos
Unicorn elbow patches will get me every time. EVERY. TIME.
Belt: Swanky Saddle
Okay, well that's only partially accurate. The buckle is from Swanky Saddle. The belt strap isn't but I have no idea who makes it. It's completely falling apart though, so I will need a new strap for this buckle at some point. Back to the buckle though. It's pretty amazing, and has an iridescent coating on it too. Swanky Saddle is having a sale too, so stop over there if you want one! I think they still have them, but maybe not with the special finish.
Jeans: Hydraulic
I just think these are super fun. I've had them for YEARS. And they still fit! Mostly.
Shoes: Irregular Choice
Obviously I have shoes that are a near perfect match to my elbow patches. Doesn't everyone?
Accessories!
Purse: Irregular Choice
I mean... it was on sale. So I had to get the bag to match the shoes. Right? Right. It also seems to match my air fryer nicely.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
It's like all my favorite crazy brands coordinated to bring my epic unicorn goodness... This bracelet is from Modcloth. And I mean, look how close it is to the sweater (and shoes):
Maybe they used the same model... Ha.
Righty:
Righty has a lot going on... First is a little cuff from Kate Spade. Then my fitbit in this pretty rosegold band. Then a stretchy unicorn bracelet from Rustic Cuff, followed up last (but not least) by a bracelet from Alex and Ani.
That's it for today! Any favorites?

Thursday's Threads
Happy Outfit Day everyone! It's a sun shiny day out there (for now at least). My favorite kind of day... even if it feels like a steam room out there. I'll take it, I love summer! Still no riding outfit this week, but I should have one next week finally (YAY). Here's what I'm wearing today (with a cameo by Pia):
I kept it super casual today...
T-shirt: Cupio
I've had this one awhile. Yep, those are indeed yellow taxi cabs all over it! It's silly and fun.
Jeans: True Religion
I paired my taxi cabs with some gray jeans. I was going to do black, but these were right on top of the dryer, so you know... #lazy
Shoes: Kate Spade
I had been eyeing these adorable taxi shoes from Kate Spade for a long while, but I can't justify the price tag on Kate Spade at retail prices. Fortunately, I eventually found them on Ebay for WAAAAAAYYYYY less. Fun right?!
Arm Party!
Lefty:
It took me a few minutes to decide how to dress the wrists today... I don't exactly have a ton of taxi cab jewelry... But for me, seeing a cab makes me think of the city (NYC obviously) and so I decided that this New York skyline bracelet was perfect with my cab outfit. I think it's from Zad.
Righty:
Heh... I said I didn't have a TON of taxi jewelry, not that I didn't have any! This cute bangle is from Kate Spade. I got it second hand on Poshmark for a steal!
And yes, I absolutely have a taxi handbag, but I was running a bit late so I didn't switch to it. Next time though!
So that's it for today. Blogging sure has been short and sweet this week. Hopefully lots of fun content next week though! (OR some at least. I'll settle for some.) Any favorites from today? Anything you want to see on Thursday's threads?

Thursday's Threads: Flamingo Edition
It's AMAZING out there today! Not a cloud in the sky and I think we're going to be around mid 80's. THIS is my weather. Finally! To celebrate, I decided to dress for the tropics.
It's hard to tell from far away, but there are a lot of flamingos happening here. I'm extra bummed the horses aren't working because they have matching flamingo outfits too. I'm sure eventually I'll get to share those though. And I mean, you can't have too many flamingo posts can you?
Top: Velvet Heart
How adorable is this loose fitting button down? I saw it at Marshalls and got super grabby hands about it. I already had the shoes (you'll see them soon, be patient) so I obviously had to own this too.
Belt: Mane Jane
To mix things up a little today, I paired a Mane Jane belt strap with an "H" buckle.
Jeans: Kut From the Kloth
My camera wasn't picking it up, but these actually have a really subtle pink wash to them. Perfect for a flamingo theme!
Shoes: Bucket Feet
I know. So Cute! I got these either last year or the year before, but have only worn them a few times. Definitely perfect with the top!
Accessories:
Tote: Kate Spade
I've been using a tote bag as a purse for awhile out of laziness, but it's pretty convenient because it holds so much stuff! The one I've been using is one of those ones you can print a photo on. The photo on it was my holiday card photo... Clearly not appropriate for the season. So I switched to this one today.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Left is sporting a Stacie original. I found this tutorial on a bead store's blog, and altered it to have a Flamingo theme. I think it came out pretty cute!
Righty:
Righty is donning this ridiculously cute rhinestone flamingo cuff and two beaded bracelets from Pura Vida. The first has a little rose gold flamingo charm. So tiny!
That's it from here today! What are you wearing? Have any favorites?

Thursday's Threads
Happy outfit day! My riding outfit is lame and half-hearted so we'll start off with today's work outfit. Leah's been waiting for a ridiculous theme outfit, so I'm happy to oblige today!
Foxes! I can't wait to wear some cute themed dresses. But since we're on fifth winter here in New England, that seems like a far off dream. But today, we have foxes!
Sweater: Run & Fly
I actually own a few fox sweaters, but for some reason, most of them are navy. My fox shoes are hunter green (you'll see soon, be patient) so I was super excited when I saw this fox cardigan in GREEN! Yay!
Belt: C4
I wish my belt was green... but the black works with everything so no complaints. Sorry this photo is terrible.
Jeans: Kankan
I was going to wear a darker pair of jeans, but I decided to switch to these instead. This pair is a little extra stretchy and comfy, and that's what I was feeling today.
Shoes: TUK
I know! I can't either. They're just the cutest shoes ever in the whole world. Look at the little tale at the back! And the bows! I love these shoes. I also have a green fox dress that's ADORABLE with them.
Accessories:
Bracelet and ring: Kate Spade
Cutest little foxies! I love Kate Spade's kitchy jewelry. It's so fun! (Especially when you find it after it goes on sale.)
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is wearing a SUPER CUTE fox bracelet from Lilo. The leather is a very close match to my watchband. So fun!
Righty:
Righty is donning this adorable stack from Hampton Ivy. They make some cute horse bracelets too!
Ok, on to last night's riding outfit. I wasn't sure if I was actually going to get to ride last night. It rained all day long, and then the wind kicked up like crazy. I threw some clothes in the car just in case, and figured we'd see how the day went.
You already know I rode Jampy lightly in the puddles. This is what I wore to do that! I didn't grab snaps of my helmet and boots, since you've seen them a million times. It's Greenie and my Regals! Here's the rest though:
Sweatshirt: Outrun38
I grabbed this sweatshirt a few years back when I ran the Outrun38 5K. It's a great cause to support, and who doesn't need more giant hoodies? It's just the perfect amount of worn in now, so I love it.
Belt: Mane Jane
I've been wearing this one a ton lately! Sorry for another terrible belt photo today. Guess I need to work on that!
Breeches: SmartPak Pipers
I got these awhile back when they were having a sale.... I also might have ordered a couple of pairs yesterday when they were 30% off. Why can't I resist a Piper sale? They're not my favorite breeches. But the colors are so fun! Anyway, these are the hunter green with tan patches. The color is actually somewhere in between an olive and a hunter, but I like it. I'll have to see which of my green boots looks better with them.... or maybe they'll have to go with the brown ones. Such decisions.
And that's it for today! Any favorites from today? What are you wearing? How's the weather where you are?

Thursday's Threads
Outfit day! And as promised I have a riding outfit. It's not a fun and exciting one. And the horses didn't match me. But it's something at least. So let's start there!
Bundled up! It was warmish out, but not ACTUALLY warm.
Jacket: Eddie Bauer
I have this in two lengths and two colors. Because it's very lightweight, but also pretty warm. I get really gross at the barn, so I like to have more than one in case I don't get around to doing laundry often enough. And the long one I have to layer with, but it doesn't work for riding since it's long.
Sweatshirt: Skidmore
I think you've actually seen this hoodie before. I got it when I was up at my 15th college reunion last summer. I so love that our mascot is the Thoroughbred!
Belt: Mane Jane
I grabbed this strap from the Mane Jane clearance section. I really love the color, it goes with SO much! It's a great neutral but it isn't boring either. Did you know that the sale belt straps are only $35? They don't come with a buckle, but if you already have one, or you have one of those trendy H buckles, you can save money by getting just a strap! You can do that with any of Mane Jane's straps, but the sale ones are the cheapest.
Breeches: Ovation
These are the Taylored euro seat line. I love them. They're cut a little looser in the thigh which is exactly what I need... Especially after the holidays.... Moo. (How much longer can I blame the holidays for my weight gain? I have till at least February, right?)
Boots: ToughRider Regal
Well... should have cropped THAT photo. Hello backside... Anyway, I opted to wear my Regals because they're extra grippy. Expect to see those for awhile, at least until I can ride with consistency and have some hope of holding on with actual muscles.
Helmet: Charles Owen AYR8
Still a favorite! I think it could use a cleaning though. Looking a little dirty around the brim.
So that's what I wore to "ride" this weekend. It was great to get back in the saddle! And now for today's work outfit:
Kept it pretty simple and casual today. It's freaking freezing out there, so I really just wanted something cozy and warm.
Yeah, see? Cold. Gross.
Sweater: Kate Spade Saturdays
Yep, definitely found this sweater during the great closet purge of '18. I picked this up last year at the end of the season in Florida of all places, and promptly stuck it in the back of the closet for this year. And then forgot about it. So glad I found it! It's actually coated in this iridescent... I don't know, paint? Dye? Whatever, it's coated in something that makes it shiny and awesome. I love it!
Belt: Mane Jane
One of these days I'll wear a belt that's NOT Mane Jane. But this is not that day. You've seen this navy belt before. I opted for navy because originally I was going to wear a really dark pair of jeans. Unfortunately, they definitely shrunk from being in the closet unworn for so long... so I couldn't wear them. (And yes, fully aware that can't happen, but please let me have that.)
Jeans: Vigoss
These are pretty basic blue jeans. I am loving them today though, because, well... they went on.
Booties: Bomoes
Remember these! So glad I found them that day at TJ Maxx. The jeans I had planned to wear were pretty much this color, though not shiny. I figured these would tie everything together: shiny like the sweater and navy like the pants. Bummer it didn't quite work out that way, but hey, they still work!
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is donning a shimmery cuff that's almost a match to my sweater! Almost... It's a touch more mint than blue. But it's pretty close.
Righty:
Righty is wearing this (in my opinion) awesome glittery stack of bracelets that I made. I made the wrap and the horse last year, and the cuff I just did this past weekend. I think they are super fun all stacked together!
And that's it for today! Any favorites? Still cold where you are? What's your favorite winter riding jacket?
