Truthful Tuesday

I was being SO well behaved in the not shopping department. I really was. But I had a teeny tiny little set back this morning when I was cleaning up the email inbox. Dreamers and Schemers is having a sale on derp socks. Derps are socks with a misprint, or maybe a missing package. Sometimes you'll get a mismatched pair. But they are selling them today 3 pair for $24.95 and you can choose free shipping. It's a pretty great deal. You can't pick what you get, so it's a blind bag of sorts. But the price is great! So I caved and ordered some socks.
I've been wanting to design my own, but I think I'm going to hold off on that. I need to save money! But Winthrop Corner socks would be super fun, wouldn't they?

    I've been trying to design my own but I can't get their dang website to work for me! It will let me create them and save them, but it wont add them to my cart. They've tried looking into it but no dice. Guess I'm not supposed to have more socks.

      Ugh! That's stupid. Have you tried using a different browser? I used firefox and it worked... I mean it would have... If later in the day I went back and ordered some....

    haha with the wedding we recently got a healthy influx of cash and gift cards and I've decided to just hold onto the giftcards to slowly buy things when I feel the itch to buy something without it impacting my post wedding budget lol

      That's such a good idea! I have a stash of gift cards for just such "emergencies"! Sometimes I get paid for braiding via Venmo, and I keep that money in there for frivolous spending.
