The End of Little Black Bag: Part II Necklaces **UPDATED** I missed one here too! Oops!

As most of my readers are aware, I have spent most of my disposable income in the last year or so on the Little Black Bag website. I've accumulated TONS of jewelry, bags, accessories, etc from them over the past year. And now they are changing platforms to be more like an ebay with trading. I'm not sure I feel comfortable trading for used items not shipped from a central location, and thus, this is the end of the road for my wasting money Little Black Bag habit. As a final farewell, I am dedicating my next several posts to my Grand Haul as I like to call it (aka, lots of shipments between April and May). So sit back, relax, and try not to be too judgmental about my exorbitant spending.
Today I am going to show you all the gorgeous neck candy I've received in my Grand Haul. I hope I actually get around to wearing some of these. Currently I've been wearing my pretty little S necklace that you've seen many times. Anyway, let's go see all the pretties!

1. All the Rage Spike Necklace

I had a hard time getting a decent photo of this one. It's a little on the large side, but I love the mint colored stones, and usually anything spikey too. Oddly enough, I had shipped a nearly identical necklace from LBB once before but sent it back because I didn't think I'd ever wear it. It had pink stones instead of mint, but was otherwise the same. The oddity is that the pink version was a different brand with a retail value almost twice as high as this one. Oh companies and your strange markups!

2. Shameless Crystal Stick Necklace

Again my photos aren't doing justice... This necklace is GORGEOUS! It has tons of sparkle and is very dainty. I will definitely get a lot of use out of this one.

3. Jardin Large Stone Cord Necklace

I admit, this is a little Wilma Flinstone. But for some reason I really love it. I love the colors, the giant stones... everything about it! I originally was thinking I would cut it apart and make something else with the stones. But I think I'm going to leave it as it is for now.

4. Lydell NYC Triangle Necklace

I love this one too. (I have a lot of love for all my new loot, huh?) It's not too big which I was a little worried about. Many of the LBB items are HUGE in an inexplicable way. But this is just right.

5. Lolita Jewelry Large Stone Statement Necklace

I was AMAZED by this necklace. Again my photos don't show it's beauty. The stones are so sparkly, I thought maybe they were Swarovski Crystals, but it doesn't say so anywhere, so they must not be. It's not overly huge, and hangs just around the neckline, just right! I can't wait to dress up some evening so I can wear this. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

6. Mata Traders Needlepoint Necklace

This one was meh for me. I like the concept a lot, but it hangs a little too long for what I would like. I may shorten the chain on it, and then maybe I'll be more apt to wear it. The purple beads are a nice color, and I like gold jewelry, so other than the length, it's nice enough!

7. Lolita Jewelry Octagon Pendant Drop Necklace (and bracelet, but I'll show that again later on the bracelet post)

This necklace is gorgeous. It's certainly not something you'd wear every day, but it's gorgeous. I think with the right top it will really stand out. I like the black chain and how well it contrasts with the clear stones. The stones are large, but not at all gaudy. Impressive feat Lolita. Impressive.

 8. Punch Triangle Stone Necklace

I was thinking this necklace looked so fun on the website! But I also thought it was a lot smaller. The second photo is to give you an idea of scale. The little ring there is a pinky ring if that helps to explain the size. I really do love the necklace, I just think it's probably too big for me to ever really use. But maybe if I find the right shirt to go with it. It's very light weight, and I love the design!

9. Geranium Turtle Charm Necklace

I haven't taken this out of its adorable box yet, but I love LOVE LOVE it! It's teeny tiny and dainty, and just perfect. Maybe I'll wear it this summer... I have a trainer that I sometimes show with who's farm name is Terrapin Hill so this would be the perfect little necklace to wear when I ride with them!

10. K.Kreative Paint Brush Necklace

Yes, this is ridiculous. But I LOVE it! I love kitsch, and I love neon yellow. This is all of those things! Lots of the LBB ladies were making fun of it in chat, and I totally see why. But I just think it's adorable and fun.

That's it for my necklaces! We still have shoes, rings, and bracelets to cover so stay tuned!

Do you have a favorite item from my necklace haul?

Thursdays Threads!

So I overslept for work this morning. Not like your typical 15 minutes either. I woke up at 10 am! That would be an hour and half late. Plus whatever time it took to get ready. Ugh. Thankfully I had picked out my Thursday's Threads last night! Phew.
Unfortunately, I STILL do not have a lovely spring time ensemble to show off. It was snowing this morning when I finally woke up. Again. Just a dusting though at least. (Spring, where are you?!)

Yep, still bundled for winter. Let's start at the bottom!

The boots are by Penny Loves Kenny. I got them from Little Black Bag as you may have seen here. They're really great boots! Really comfy, and not as difficult to get into as they look (they have a zipper down the inside of the leg thankfully). Though they're not real leather, they're very soft and truthfully makes me more likely to wear them in inclement weather. The snow doesn't damage faux leather! Also, the soles are actually rubber and have great tread making them better for walking in the ice and snow.

The jeans are by 1st Kiss. I've had them awhile, I think I got them from Marshalls? Hard to recall. I love the studs on the front pockets! The back pockets are plain, which I think is best. Probably much too busy with back pocket detailing as well. And you wouldn't want to sit on those studs!

The sweater is by Pink Rose. I got this one at the VF Outlet, which I think is the company that owns Levi's. I'm no expert though, I might have made that up. Anyway, it's a nice olive green color which is a little tough to see in my not great photos today. And the studs on the shoulder are cute and thankfully not pointy.

Now, on to the accessories! (My favorite part!)

My necklace today features a tiny little pug bead on a green cotton string. I made him this weekend as you may have seen here. I've been dying to wear him all week!

Arm party!

Righty up on the top is sporting from left to right: A handmade by me bracelet with copper colored beads, a pretty friendship bracelet from Etsy, another handmade by me bracelet that's just braided with a heart, and lastly a gold bangle/cuff from Lydell that I got from Little Black Bag awhile back.
Lefty has on (from right to left just to mess with you a little) my trusty gold watch, a pretty arrow bracelet from Ettika that I think I actually got from Gilt, and my handmade pug bracelet that goes with the necklace.
All my craftiness this past weekend inspired me to don some of my own pieces again.

My bag today is one of my favorites from Emma Fox which also came from Little Black Bag:

I swear this bag only gets better with use. It's so buttery soft! I love it!
I guess that's it for today. What are you wearing today? Has it warmed up where you are? Let's hope (again) for spring outfits next week!

Mani Monday! And some new jewels

So it's snowing today... Which has nothing to do with my post, but I felt you needed to stay informed of the weather here.

Now that you're an informed reader, on to the fun stuff! I really can't promise Mani Monday being a regular thing, but I'm gonna give it a go. This week's mani is in honor of the upcoming St. Patty's day:

Sorry the photos aren't great. The glitter in this polish is SO SPARKLY I can't get a decent photo. The base is Avante Green by Maybelline Color Show. The glitter top coat is an indy brand, called That One Nail Polish in the color Ranger. There is SO MUCH GLITTER in this polish you get full glitter coverage in one coat practically! I did two just to even it out a bit. The accent nail is a wrap from NCLA. It's supposed to be a cheetah print. I'm not sure I love these wraps all that much. The NCLA brand tend to last in that they're pretty durable, but they are thick like paper. They're more difficult to apply and always seem to have a bend in them. I prefer the Sally Hansen wraps which are more like actual polish. They are easier to apply smoothly over the nail, though a little tricky to handle. NCLA has some really fun prints though!

So I KNOW you're dying to know about my new jewels. Especially since I'm not supposed to be shopping. Well fear not my friends, all of my new jewels were handcrafted by me! I'm not riding yet since my ring still looks like this:

So I have plenty of free time on the weekends. Especially since Katie and I got our long run in on Saturday. I did spend some time outdoors (since it was almost like Spring) with the doggies but after Artie got loose I decided to head back indoors.

The house was pretty clean, and I am trying not to snack out of boredom, so needed something productive to distract me. I turned to all the bead projects I haven't done. I got a lot accomplished!

Neon Necklaces:

 Pretty heart bracelet:

Giant stone necklace:

Close up!

 Jelly bean necklace:

Pug Jewelry:

Adorable Doggy Key Chain:

And then I decided each of my four legged kids needed a name bracelet (for me, not them):

Fun right?! I know the name ones are a little silly with the giant wooden letters, but I really love them. I like the natural stone beads with the blocks, it makes them a little less second grade crafty in my opinion. The green and yellow also have stone beads though they look wooden in the photo.
