I think even blogger is rebelling against me! It's telling me there are no photos on this blog. Sigh. But hey, at least it's Thursday! Outfit day! Here's what I'm wearing today:
Houndstooth!!! I love these crazy pants, and was super excited when I found a great top to go with them!
Top: First Look
This has just enough houndstooth to be fun, but not so much that it makes the outfit too much houndstooth. At least, I don't feel that way... It's a cute tunic, though not very warm. I have a cami and a long sleeve t-shirt underneath to keep me from freezing to death in my cold office.
Pants: Forever 21
It's impossible to tell in photos, but these pants are corduroy. I LOVE them, but don't wear them all that often since they certainly are a statement. And they make my bum look enormous. I'm ok with that though, since these pants are awesome.
Boots: Tory Burch
Are you guys tired of these yet? Cause I'm not. So glad I added these to the collection!
Arm party:
Lefty:
Lefty is sporting my Rebecca Minkoff leather bangle from my sister-in-law (I love this one!) and my newish Hermes Apple watch. I may have to don the Rolex soon though... I miss him!
Righty:
Righty is wearing a new stack that I found on Zulily from a brand named Kim and Zozi. There are three from that brand and then the last one is Tory Burch. I love them all together, though they stand alone nicely too!
What are you wearing today? Have a favorite from today? Let's chat in the comments!

What's Up Wednesday!
Sorry this is so late! I'm still fighting with technology over here. I recently updated my computer so I can sync it to the cloud thus saving space on my machine AND having pretty much unlimited storage for all my ridiculous photos. Unfortunately, the syncing is not going smoothly nor quickly. So all of my fancy HD pictures from my new camera are not accessible currently. Hopefully some day. If any of you have advice on how to make this go better, please share!
But that's not what this post is supposed to be about! I flew back home last Thursday and had lots to do to prepare for the impending snowstorm. Normally I don't worry too much since the truck I haul my trailer with is excellent in the snow. Unfortunately, Bruce (that's my truck) has decided he doesn't want to start, so I needed to prepare to be snowed in for the weekend. My plane landed around four and I drove straight home to feed the horses and unload the car. Once they were tended to and the car was empty, I set out to run a few errands and then pick up the short kids from Grandma's house. I was pretty excited when she had dinner for me! Aren't moms the best?! Thankfully I was so productive, we were all home by 9:30 and enjoyed some cuddle time.
Friday was a full day at work, and then home to groom the tall kids. I missed them so much while I was away!
They're all in shedding mode:
I woke up Saturday and the snow hadn't started yet. Yay! But by 8 am it was coming down pretty heavily. I spent the day playing with ponies and hanging with the pugs. And shoveling snow. It was actually a pretty nice snow day! Especially hanging with these two:
Sunday was full of snow cleanup and lots of adorable pictures of the boys in the snow that I can't show you! Grrrr. (Yes, I'm whining.) I did snap a few with the phone though, so here's some snow for you!
I don't think Romey has spent much time out in the snow before. He wasn't so sure about it at first, but by the end of his turnout he had meandered around the whole arena. He's adorable!
Sunday afternoon I finally cleaned out the shoe/purse room. (Yes my accessories have their own room... try not to judge.) It's not done yet, because despite my weeding things out, it's still a mess. But this is where I got to.
Monday, Jamp lost a shoe, and managed to move one of the others, but my farrier was able to come out Tuesday and fix him up. Important to note, it's nearly impossible to find a shoe in the snow.
And now... the most exciting thing that happened this week? I bought Gran Turismo, aka GTO!
I also realized he kind of looks like my dogs:
It's actually been semi-warm here this week, so I'm hoping for enough melting to ride this weekend. We shall see what happens!
What's up with you this Wednesday? Any snow where you are?

Truthful Tuesday
Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm having some media difficulty so I had to change my plan for today's post. Don't you hate that?! I swear, technology can be so complicated sometimes...
Anyway, today I will admit to holding on to certain things for far too long, and yet still refusing to let go. Case in point: My high school back pack:
Pretty sweet right? That is the early 90's model LL Bean back pack. Pretty much everyone had one. I think during my sophomore year I started adding key chains and patches to it. There is no rhyme nor reason to any of them. But here are some of my favorites that are on there:
Bud and Andre were my horses the later part of my high school career. Well, Bud was my horse from middle school, and I kept him all the way until I started college when I sadly had to put him down when he coliced a month into my first semester. Worst day ever. But that's not what this post is about...
If my calculations are correct, this back pack turns 22 this year. That's kind of crazy, no? Should I still have this thing? Probably not. But I think I'm going to hang on to it for awhile longer.
Do you think this is the first step to being a hoarder? Do you have any items you've held on to for no particular reason, but don't want to let go of? Sound off in the comment section!

Thursday's Threads: Travel Edition
Back to the frozen north today! So layers it is! Here's how I started the day:
Yep. Three quarter sleeves and jeans. Not bad for January right?! I later added a sweater for the trip north where it was actually not as cold as the last time I came back.
Shirt: Old Navy
I ordered this top online from Old Navy when they suckered me into their after Christmas sale. (Not hard to do really...) I just couldn't resist a button down top that was hunter green!
Jeans: Earl Jeans
These are oldies. And oddly tighter than I remember... Has to be the jeans... Couldn't possibly be all the vacation eating I've been doing right?!
Shoes: Sperry Topsiders
When in Florida, do as the Floridians do! And by that, I mean wear boat shoes. Especially green ones.
Sweater: Cynthia Rowley
I found this sweater I think last year on clearance at Marshalls. I love that it's hunter, black and gray. I was so excited when I realized how great it would be with my green shirt! Perfect for a day of traveling!
I didn't dress up the arms today since too many jewels takes too long at security. But I will surely have a super fun arm party for you next week!
What are you wearing today? Is there a color you just have to buy when you find it on sale?

What's Up Wednesday!
Happy Wednesday! Ok, so I won't leave you hanging any more than I am. So far all is going well with the vetting. I'm waiting to hear how the x-rays look and for the blood work to come back, but the clinical all went great! So now we wait till tomorrow... UGH! I hate waiting! But while we wait, we can talk about what else is up this Wednesday!
Thursday I got to hang out with my niece after work for a few hours. We played hide and seek:
Her hiding skills are in progress... And read lots of bed time stories! So fun watching her grow up!
Before leaving for Florida, I made sure to spend some quality time with all the four leggeds I would be leaving at home. The tall kids had lots of groomies:
The short kids prefer cuddles to groomies.
I had a 4:30 flight on Saturday, so had plenty of time to run errands before leaving. I had to pick up some supplements for the tall kids, and got to meet the new mascot at my local tack store:
His name is Reins, and he's ridiculously adorable!
My flight was uneventful, and the best part was when they let those of us at the back of the plane exit through the back instead of waiting an extra 20 minutes. Thanks Jet Blue!
Florida has been great! I got to ride everyday. Tuesday I rode THREE horses. And then was exhausted. But we did fit in family mani/pedi's.
Today I set jumps for my trainer and rode the buckskin for the vet.
The rest of the trip has included playing with pups and goats and eating.
I head back to the frozen north tomorrow. Here's hoping the giant snow storm they're predicting decides to stay south!
What's up with you this Wednesday? Fill me in below in the comments!

Truthful Tuesday
I've been keeping a secret from you all... Not just you, I haven't told many people at all. And I figure today's a good day to spill the beans! I've secretly had a horse on trial at my trainer's farm in Wellington, FL. I'm having him vetted tomorrow, and if he is healthy, he'll be joining the herd! I'm SO EXCITED!!!
Meet Grand Tourismo:
He's a very green 5 year old from Holland. So far, he is not at all spooky and LOVES to learn new things. Which is good because pretty much everything is new to him. He jumps currently 2'6"-2'9" but I think will wind up in the amateur owner hunter ring eventually. I hope so at least! If he joins the herd, he'll stay in training with my trainer at least through the end of circuit. He may or may not move home for the summer. I want to keep him in a solid program. Plus I have Romey at home who needs my attention, so it's best to share the babies!
Fingers crossed that he vets well!
