Outfit Day! Since my main reason for being here in Florida is to play with ponies, I have only a riding outfit today! Currently I'm in a bathing suit about to go lay by the pool and read my book club book. And I'm sorry, but I'm certain no one needs to see that image on the internet! So without further babbling, here's what I wore to ride this morning:
I know what you're thinking, a white polo?! Agree. Except down here I really play the part of spoiled amateur, so for the most part I stay pretty clean. Ok, let's break it all down!
Polo shirt: Joules
I think you've actually seen this one before. I got it when the Paddock was going out of business for stupid cheap. I LOVE it, though I kind of wish the colors were reversed so I could safely wear it more often.
Breeches: SmartPak
The lighting was a little funny on these, but they are a very dark blue denim. They were a closeout find last year, and they've held up great.
Belt: Rebecca Ray
Another one that was tricky to get the color right. This belt is a beautiful navy blue suede. I got it from Equestrilifestyle when they were having a big sale a few months back. It would be perfect to wear with side-zip breeches since the buckles are already on the sides, which you can't see here because I didn't think about that when snapping the photos... You can kind of see in the full length photo above though.
Socks: Dreamers and Schemers
I don't have any pony socks, but I thought these hearts and whales worked well enough with my outfit today!
Shoes: Sperry
After my last trip down, my barn shoes finally died. So when I got stuck here due to bad weather, I found my way to the Sperry outlet and got a new pair. They're perfect to wear when you're not on or working around a horse.
That's what I wore today! What do you have on? Any favorites from today?

Thursdays Threads
Outfit Day! And since I spent the day at the horse show, I have a riding outfit AND a normal person outfit today. What I don't have is an arm party. Oh well, can't have everything. We'll start with today's riding outfit.
I can't zoom in on this or it gets grainy, but you'll see better when we look closer.
Top: Joules
I got this one when one of the local tack stores was closing. I had seen it before, but couldn't bring myself to pay full price for it. Once I found it for 75% off, I was sold! I probably can't ride in this one at home. It's far too white for me to be trusted playing with ponies in it. But here where I'm spoiled with a groom, I can pull it off.
Breeches: Grand Prix
These came from Tack of the Day awhile back. I love all the pockets. They're also a great material and super comfy.
Belt: Mane Jane
You've all seen my Mane Jane a million times. But I still love it so much!
Socks: Dreamers and Schemers
We all know howcheap frugal I can be, so I bet you're shocked that I would own expensive boot socks. Fear not. Dreamers and schemers occasionally sells what they call derp socks. Derp socks have some kind of printing imperfection on them somewhere so they sell them two for the price of one. I love me a good bargain! So I bought a few pairs. These are the party on top version. They have a black band at the top in case they pop out of your boot, they aren't as noticeable. I love that!
Ok, now on to my non riding outfit:
I think you've seen this entire outfit before....
Top: Tommy Hilfiger
A little black and white lumberjack. This shirt has tabbed sleeves so you can roll them up. I had them rolled for dinner, but just unrolled them as it got cooler. Convertible shirts are my favorite!
Jeans: True Religion
I got these at the Saks outlet around the holidays. I've always been really cheap with pants, but I splurged a little on these, and I honestly have zero regrets. They fit me perfectly and are so comfy!
Belt: C4
I think we're all well versed in my obsession over these by now. But how could I pass up a black and white lumberjack belt?! I couldn't.
Shoes: Sperry
These are oldies but goodies! I love the little bit of gold on the tongue and the brass rivets.
That's what I wore today! What about you? Were you in the path of the miserable blizzard back home? Have a favorite from today?
