Yep, I bought a treadmill. A ProForm 505 CST Treadmill to be exact. It's nothing fancy. Probably wouldn't suit a very serious runner. But I think it will work just fine for me. Hopefully anyway. It's temporarily on sale from the manufacturer for $599. Marked down from $999. So that's a deal right there! On top of that, I got it from Target with my Target Credit Card, which means I saved an additional 5% plus got free shipping. Free shipping is kind of unheard of for an overweight item like this, so major score there! On top of all those savings, I clicked through to Target.com from Ebates, so I'll get 2.5% back. I could have gotten it through a few other web sites that would have gotten me more back from Ebates, but the transit time was a lot longer and/or I couldn't get the free shipping. When all is said and done, this baby will have set me back $554.82. Not terrible for a semi-decent treadmill delivered to my door! I have enough of my holiday bonus left to pay for it when the bill comes, so no interest charges either. Yay! But the real question is... will I admit on Truthful Tuesday in a few weeks to not using it?! I hope not! Time will tell. It should be arriving tomorrow, and I probably won't get it assembled for a day or two (I read it's a little time consuming, especially for one person), but hopefully by the weekend it will be up and running. Literally.
Anything you need to confess today?
