Truthful Tuesday

I'm not sure if this is an adulting win or an adulting fail... But I made a conscious decision last night to have ice cream for dinner. I have a ridiculously busy week this week. Like stupid busy. Like "how do I get myself into this" busy. And last night was the least busy of them all. I worked all day as normal, came home, then groomed and hand walked the boys. It was 87 degrees with like 95% humidity. So I decided it was the perfect night to go to Ben & Jerry's for dinner.
I went with The Tonight Dough with chocolate sprinkles in a waffle cone. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I really love food that comes in an edible vessel. Like soup in a bread bowl. Or taco salad in a tortilla bowl. You get the idea. So obviously, I get my ice cream in a cone.
After eating my dinner it was off to braid! Fortunately, it was an easy night, just one mane. So I was home by 10:15. I have two tonight, I think with tails, and three tomorrow in two different locations. Thursday, I'm supposed to take my mom to see a show, but I'm hoping she'll want to have a nice local dinner instead... And Friday is my dad's retirement party. All this plus taking care of the horses and dogs, and my regular 40 hour a week job. Phew. I'm going to sleep well this weekend!

Do you ever have ice cream for dinner? Is that, or is that not, one of the biggest perks to having to be a responsible adult?

  1. Adulting win. One crappy day I had straight caramel for lunch.

  2. I’ve had ice cream for breakfast. Because it’s really just frozen milk with stuff in it, so it’s basically cereal right??

  4. I love having cereal for dinner too. Or waffles. Because I'm a child.

    1. Oh if it wasn't ice cream, it was definitely going to be cereal.
