It's OUTFIT DAY! Woohoo! It's back to kind of being winter, but like, bearable winter today. Temps are in the 30's for now, but tomorrow we're going to see 50's! And torrential rain. Of course. Anyway, due to lovely weather as of late, I have no riding outfit to share today. I'm sure you're shocked. But I have a cute pearl themed outfit to share at least. It's extra fun because most of it was Chanukah presents, and not ones I bought myself!
Sweater: Benedetta B.
It's hard to show the real color on a screen of this sweater. It's somewhere in between lilac and pale pink. I really love the color and the little gray and white bumpy dots are adorable. It's a cashmere blend so it's soft and cozy, but still fairly durable. This pretty sweater came from my Mom.
Belt: Burberry
I just went with a black belt for this outfit. I wanted a pink, but couldn't find the right shade. Except just right now I remembered that I have a pearl belt that ties with a pink ribbon that I totally should have worn.... Next time!
Jeans: Kensie
I did buy these pants myself. When I went in search of snow appropriate foot wear on my last day in Florida, I found these on the clearance rack in Macy's and thought they would be cute with this sweater. I don't think I was wrong! I like that they have pearls and rhinestones sewn on there.
Socks: Not sure on brand
Pardon the language... but these sucks are awesome. My sister-in-law got funny adult themed socks for all of us this year. My favorites though were ones she gave me dad that said "This meeting is bullshit." He plans to wear them to the last corporate board meeting before he retires. LOL.
Shoes: Unisa
So remember last weekend when the high was 7 degrees? Well. Against my better judgement, I let myself wander into Marshalls to procrastinate and saw these cute booties. The were marked down to $28 so it was hard to say no when I KNEW they would be so perfect with my new jeans. And that they are!
Accessories! (No idea on brands here friends, sorry!)
Necklace: From my Momma
I LOVE this necklace from my Mom! Those are real freshwater pearls on there. It's so dainty, yet still kind of a statement piece since it has three lengths all in one.
Lefty:
Lefty is donning a cute little gold cuff that I found on Zulily a bit ago. I love mixing spikes with pearls. Totally says, I'm girlie, but also a badass.
Righty:
Righty is wearing a super fun wrap bracelet that was also from my mom. I love how her gifts all coordinate! And the second bracelet came from Zulily. I think I've worn it for Thursday's Threads fairly recently so it may look familiar. The pink bead there is a swarovski crystal in the shape of a heart. So cute!
That's it from here today. If I lose my mind and decide to ride at all in the snow or rain or whatever we end up with, I'll document the outfit to share. But I doubt that's going to be a thing anytime soon. What are you wearing today? Any favorites from today? Any new riding clothes I should know about?
I couldn't figure out how to dress today because it was 60 this morning but will be below freezing by the time the work day ends and then our overnight low is 12 🙄 just why, Mother Nature. I have no new riding clothes (yet) but I've been eyeballing some teal winter breeches from Dublin -- shocking, right? 😉
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't even make sense. Winter is clearly having some kind of identity crisis. Probably a good time to get those winter breeches, most are on sale!
DeleteThat is an outfit of my heart. <3 pearls!
ReplyDeleteI did think of you and your love of pearls when I was compiling it!
DeleteThose socks are bomb!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE them!
DeleteWearing a shop hunt club sweater at work today, it's just so cozy! May have bought two pairs of TS breeches during that sale and haven't worn them yet.
ReplyDeleteOnly somewhat related but I wish I could find some winter breeches to buy that come in long. Tall people get cold too everyone!
Ooo what color breeches did you get???
DeleteThey really should make winter breeches in longs! I can't believe they don't!
Those are Blue Q socks. I might have a lot of them. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you! She gave me three pair, but I may need some more...
DeleteI've got 7 or 8 pair of socks, some oven mitts, some mints, and a couple of kitchen towels from them. Clearly their line speaks to me as a human.
DeleteMints?! Oh geeze. My credit card is currently hibernating, but once it wakes up I'm gonna have to google.
DeleteAnd here I am...still sporting my hoodie and jeans. I need some of your fashion sense!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Full disclosure, I'm in a hoodie and jeans alllll weekend!
