Thursday's Threads... another one with logos everywhere.

Outfit day again! This is another one where I just logo everything. You guys. I can't stop. Having my Cricut up and running has been so much fun! I have lots more ideas, just not a lot of time to make stuff right now. But still. So fun! So here's what I wore yesterday to ride:

That top looks REALLY low cut from this angle... I promise there was no inappropriate exposure... Also I had a cami underneath. Anyway...

Helmet: Charles Owen
Greenie isn't nearly as ventilated as the One K's, but he sure is pretty! And he fits really comfortably too.  I hope CO comes out with a custom MIPS helmet in the future so I can upgrade to a new greenie.

Top: Stacie Original

So.... when enhancing a shirt, it might not be a bad plan to try it on before you place your decorations... The logo on the front is on the side of my boob. Super awkward. Oops. Live and learn, right? I've been getting inexpensive shirts from Walmart and Amazon to decorate. I even found some hunter green athletic shirts, but I haven't gotten to them yet.

Belt: Stacie Original
Buckle: Mane Jane
One of the boarders at the barn is a leather rep. They sell to a lot of the high end bag designers and what not. Whenever they clean out the office, they give me their scraps. And so I made this belt strap from their scrap! I only have scissors for cutting, so it's not that even... but it's good enough! I made it simple, just a strip of leather, which works well with both the Mane Jane buckles and my H buckles. I'm curious to see how long the iron on vinyl will last on the leather... but I've worn it a few times already and so far so good!

Breeches: Ariat
These are the more expensive Ariat breeches, but you all know me. I only buy this stuff on closeout. I do find the higher end models fit better than the lower end.

Socks: Dreamers & Schemers
I'm pretty sure you've all seen these before. I have two pair and I also made a green version. If you haven't played around with making custom socks on the Dreamers & Schemers site, you're missing out. It's super fun!

Boots: Fama-4-All
I still think these are the coolest boots in my collection. The quality isn't that of the Celeris, and they aren't AS super comfy as the De Niro's. But they are still completely amazing. I mean... my logo is on them! Look at it! And yeah... I know they're dirty. We haven't gotten rain in so long, everything is dusty. It's gross.

Arm Party!!!
Lefty:
I need to work on some logo bracelets... I have some ideas but need to experiment. I figured the next best thing was just following the color scheme. So lefty is donning my FAVORITE bracelet. It's that green bit bracelet from Gucci that I happened to stumble across on Ebay several years ago. I love this thing so much. I paired it with an Hermes wrap bracelet that was also a second hand purchase.

Righty:
Righty is donning a couple of other second hand Hermes bracelets and my Fitbit. I do love fancy bracelets from fancy companies (clearly) but I think it's pretty crazy what they cost. So I've only ever purchased them used. Though I have received a few as gifts.

So that's what I wore yesterday, but I also have horse outfits to share! Spoiler alert, their bridles didn't match as I don't have the right bits on their green themed bridles. So we're skipping bridle photos today.

Eros:

Eros wore my Hermes saddle with my mattes half pad, and a baby pad that I decorated with the Cricut. The photo doesn't really show it, but I used glitter vinyl for this one so it's sparkly and fun. He also wore his Punk Pony boots. These are the cob sized though, I need to find the horse size that fit him better.

Shiny:

Shiny isn't wearing any logos. I can't bring myself to deface my fancy Mattes pad. But it is all the right colors, so close enough. Atop the Mattes pad she's using her Butet saddle. She's also donning her Punk Ponies boots.

And that's it for today! Do you have any craft fails like my shirt's funny placed logo? Any favorites from today?

Thursday's Threads

Outfit Day! I was feeling a little outfit day burnout after a full week of planned outfits last week... But I pulled something together somewhat for today.
Your eyes do not deceive you. This is an avocado themed outfit!

I forgot to get photos of helmet boots, but I just wore my plain black One K and my regals. Recycled photos:

Maybe I'll wear green boots and helmet tonight when I ride at home. Time will tell, but there's a chance we may get stormed out tonight. Supposed to get some weather they're saying.

Top: Old Navy
I normally don't wear this around the horses since it's white. But here we are. Wearing white around horses.

Belt: C4
I was so excited when this belt came out and ordered it right away. I just really love avocados okay?

Breeches: Hadley
It's tough to photograph the color on these. It's a really pretty green. And I'll echo lots of other people, the Hadley breeches fit a million times better than the pipers.

Socks: Dreamers and Schemers
These came in a set with the belt. I'm always a sucker for sets (clearly) so no brainer here.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty has the tech today. But not very exciting tech I guess. Just plain black bands for both.

Righty:
Righty is having more fun though! I got this bracelet awhile ago on Etsy with these ADORABLE little avocado charms. Half have pits and half don't which is a great detail. The other bracelet is an Hermes wrap that I got second hand.

That's it for today! Thoughts on avocados? Or are you one of those odd ducks who doesn't like them?

Thursday's Threads

Happy Outfit Day! It's boring today, no riding outfit. Boo. Probably not next week either. Double boo. I will probably have a running outfit to share next week though, so I guess that's something. Despite no pony clothes, I do have a fun pineapple outfit today! (I know pineapples again!)

SHINY pineapples! I love me some sparkles. Just, you know, not on my horses' clothes.

Top: H&M
Aren't they cute?! Sequin pineapples > regular pineapples. What I especially love about this top is that the decorations are on BOTH sides. I really hate when just the front is adorned.

Belt: C4
You all saw this last time I wore pineapples. I still haven't made this belt end into a bracelet though. Soon!

Jeans: Rebrand
I actually bought these to use for my Yankees jeans, but then decided on a different pair. They were on clearance for $8 though, so I kept them anyway. I kind of love light jeans for summer.

Sandals: Lily Pulitzer for Target
Sorry. I still haven't gotten my feet prettied up. Gross. Anyway, these sandals I told you about last time. I was going to wear a pair of my Soludos shoes that have pineapples on them, but they are a different denim color than the jeans and it wasn't working... So I went back to these. Which always work! So cute.

Accessories:
Phone Case: Ebay find
Phones like to dress up to you know.

Necklace: Zulily find
I really love amber. So when I saw this pineapple with amber I got grabby hands.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is wearing this really fun bracelet I got from Etsy years ago. It's my name! It's super delicate, so I don't wear it too much. I don't want to ruin it.

Righty:
Righty is wearing a bar bracelet that I found on Ebay. It's pretty fun, you actually screw that bar in as the clasp. The middle one is a stretch bracelet from Buena Vida with the cutest little pineapple bead in the middle! And the little cuff at the end was another ebay find.

So that's it for today. Sorry for the lack of riding outfits, I know that's what most want to see. Someday those will be weekly again. Thanks for being patient and coming back to visit anyway! Any favorites from today?

Thursday's Threads

Happy Outfit Day everyone! It's still wintering here in the northeast, so I have no riding outfit to share. I was going to have a running outfit instead, but I overslept, so you don't get that either. But I do have a work outfit! And some fab boots to go with it...
As you can see, due to the freezing cold weather, I've basically given up on looking good. But the boots you guys!

Sweater: H&M
I love the variegated greens in this one. I saw it at H&M in Florida SUPER on sale, and I got grabby hands for it.

Jeans: Twentyone Black
These jeans are stupid comfy. They have lots of stretchy to them, and I think the zipper pocket is really cute.

Belt: Mane Jane
I know, you're probably getting tired of it already. Or are not so patiently waiting to see the flip side. Sorry guys, we'll get there soon, I promise!

Boots: Donald Pliner

Ahhhhh! Aren't they pretty?! They're hunter green with a bronze undertone, making them slightly metallic. I have an awesome hunter green leather jacket that goes really well, but it was too cold for it today. I have a confession about these boots... They're not exactly my size... By the time I discovered these, they were already closeouts. While I did find a pair in my size, it was a really expensive pair. I figured I could make the bigger pair work since they were $125 cheaper. So far so good. I may go get a nice thick inner sole for them, but I haven't fallen over my feet yet, so I don't think they're too bad.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is sporting my most favorite Gucci bit bracelet along with a really cute beaded bracelet with a pewter pug on it. I bid on that little guy at the Pug Rescue of New England charity auction. I was so happy to win him!

Righty:
Are you tired of my home made bracelets yet? I hope not. There are a lot more to come. I LOVED this metallic faux leather when I saw it online. I was pretty confident it would be cute with a pony clasp. Not to brag... but I was right. This one is a little more kelly green than hunter, but I have some hunter that just arrived that's very similar, so expect to see that soon!

And that's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? Any favorites from today?

Thursdays Threads

Outfit Day! With all this riding I've been doing, I actually have a riding outfit, TWO WEEKS IN A ROW! We'll start there. Here's what I wore Sunday to "ride" Jamp (I use that term loosely).
I was SUPER casual because I wasn't really sure if I was going to ride or not. Once I decided I was going to, I was too lazy to change into breeches. #lazyrider

Hoodie: Westbrook/Old Saybrook Athletics
My little brother played football his senior of high school and my dad bought us all sweatshirts that were a fundraiser. My little brother was number 13. This thing is pretty old, but still going strong!

Jeans: Hotkiss (I think)
I'm not actually positive on the brand. I wore these Sunday, and who can remember that far back? When I was in FL over the holidays I saw these at Marshalls. They reminded me of my youth, when my friends and I used to doodle on our jeans. I had to have them for nostalgia's sake. I can't really wear them a lot, since they're definitely not work appropriate. But for barn chores and riding? Sure! They are really soft and stretchy, so more like breeches than jeans anyway.

Half Chaps: Ariat
Paddock Boots: Dublin
I've had these half chaps a long while, but I don't really wear them that much. Not sure why, they're quite nice. The paddock boots were newly introduced into the rotation, but I bought them a few months ago. Horseloverz had them on closeout for $15. I bought two pair of brown and pair of black. Should keep me covered for awhile!

Helmet: Charles Owen
I'm still in love with my custom AYR8. My sparkly blue one has arrived too, but it's matching boots and half chaps are still about a month away. I have a feeling the helmet may make an appearance before then though.

Ok, on to today's work outfit!
It's been dreary and cloudy almost nonstop around here, so I brought my own sunshine to work today.

Sweater: Ralph Lauren
When I saw a wool/cashmere blend sweater in NEON YELLOW on sale at the Ralph Lauren outlet, it just jumped itself into my hands and insisted on coming home with me. Who am I to argue?

Scarf: My MOM!
My mom saw some neon yarn at the knitting store and knew it was meant for me. She mixed it with a sparkly black yarn, and it's the best scarf ever. EVER. What's better than a handmade NEON scarf? Nothing. Nothing is better.

Belt: Moschino
Ebay find. Authenticity possibly not guaranteed... But it's neon yellow, and I like it!

Jeans: Seven
Just a basic pair of black skinny jeans. I like that these have room for my thighs, but still fit my waist. Hard to find, my friends.

Boots: Lucky Brand
Confession: I forgot I bought these at the end of last year. I just discovered them this morning and was ridiculously excited about it. They are SO SOFT and fit perfectly.

Arm Party:
Lefty:
Lefty is sporting a neon yellow H bracelet and my trust Apple Watch.

Righty:
Righty is BRIGHT! First up is a leather bracelet from... Um... I really don't remember. I've had it awhile. Next is a stretch bracelet from Forever 21, and last is a metal cuff from Baublebar.

And that's what I'm wearing today! Any favorites from today? What are your opinions on NEON? I know it's not for everyone. But it's definitely for me!
