Thursday's Threads

It's a short outfit day today... I didn't get to ride last night due to pouring rain so no riding outfit to share. I ALMOST took photos of my outfit on Monday but I was like nahhhh it's only Monday. So I should have. Clearly. Anyway, here's what I am wearing at work today:

Peep that giant new phone... I've finally joined this decade and let my little tiny Ipone SE retire. It was a sad day. But welcome to my new iPhone 11 Pro. It's so big I need two hands to operate it. And now I'll need to get all new outfits for it... Sheesh. But at least it matches my outfit today! Also, my photos should be better quality now.

Top: Crescent
I'm not super into southwest type designs typically, but since this sweater is basically my barn colors, I like it a lot! Plus I think the fringy part on the bottom is cute.

Belt: Mane Jane
Went with the olive belt strap and gold buckle for this ensemble.

Jeans: Calvin Klein
Love the stripey look on these olive jeans! And they're stretchy and comfy. Win!

Shoes: Lucky Brand
It's that time of year... The time when the boots and booties start coming back out! You've seen these a million times, they are absolutely a favorite of mine.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is donning all the tech today! But I added a cute bracelet from Tory Burch in the middle. The colors are perfect with this sweater!

Righty:
Righty is actually also wearing Tory Burch. The first two little string bracelets I found on Ebay. Doesn't that little tab thing remind you of the piece that opens a soda can? (Or beer can... whatever.) And the wrap bracelet I snagged second hand on Poshmark awhile back. Love me some green and gold!

And sadly, that's it for today. I hope to have a riding outfit for you all next week!
Any favorites from today? What are you wearing?

Thursday's Threads!

Outfit DAY! It's nearly 60 degrees out there today! Too bad I'm stuck at the office... It would have been really nice to play with ponies all day. But instead I shall look longingly out the window. Sigh.
But that's not what you're here for today is it? My bad! Let's see what I wore to work on this spring like day!
I know, you're thinking, "Scarf? Really? It's almost 60 degrees out!" And you do have a point. But it's always freezing in my office, and it is a bit windy out. So the scarf was the perfect touch. Ok, let's look closer!

Sweater: Wearing your heart on your sleeve (seriously, that's the name on the label)
I kind of ruined this top a little. It used be longer, making those side slits less awkward. I think I mistakenly put it in the dryer. Oops. It's still wearable, probably more so if I dropped a few lbs. It's the perfect weight for a day like today!

Pants: Calvin Klein
I love the olive color on these. I picked them up in the clearance section at Marshall's when I was in Florida. Definitely a great find!

Shoes: Two Lips Too
Today started off really wet and drizzly so I wanted to wear shoes that could handle the elements somewhat. Also, since it was super spring like, I didn't want to wear overly wintery tall boots. I thought these were just the pair I was looking for! I was super excited when they worked with the pants so well.

Belt: C4
"Hi, my name is Stacie, and I've become a C4 addict." How awesome is this hunt scene one though? I had trouble picking a buckle for it, so I went with the shiniest one I could find. I figured it was sort of brassy.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
My mom gave me that adorable Coach bracelet for Chanukah this year. Once it darkens up some, I think it will match well with my watch. Can you believe it was also that color when I got it?! The middle bracelet is a vintage piece I found on Ebay awhile ago.

Righty:
Righty is sporting the Hermes wrap bracelet my dad and stepmom got me a few years ago. I love that bracelet, and wear it sparingly so I don't destroy it. I know me. The other three I bought at my local gift store/deli. I believe they are handcrafted. I'm not sure if it's a local artisan or not though. I don't really think so. But maybe.

That's what I'm wearing today! I really hope some day to have a riding outfit again... Ugh. Winter is the worst!
What are you wearing today? How's the weather by you?

Thursday's Threads

This might technically be Friday's Threads by the time I get it posted... It was a long day! But due to my long day, I have THREE outfits for you! We'll start with Wednesday's riding outfit:
It's cold here. Because spring quit and went home. Seriously. Sunday's high is going to be 37 and it might also snow. Spring, you need to try harder. And soon. But I digress. Let's look at my riding outfit closer.

Top: Stridebox
This sweatshirt was sold as a fundraiser for a little girl fighting neuroblastoma. Such a great cause. Childhood cancers break my heart into tiny little pieces.

Breeches: Unbranded
Pardon my shoes... I hadn't put my boots on yet. These breeches were from my trip to Equine Affair in the fall. I love them so much. I got three pairs that day, and I totally wish I had bought more. Since these don't have a brand on them, I have no idea how to find more of them! Oh, also, they were only $40.

Ok next up is my work outfit from today:

And possibly the most awkward photo ever? I need to work on my posing. Clearly, I'm a rider not a model.

Top: Ariat

I love this sweater so much! (Elbow patches, duh!) I picked this up on sale at my favorite local tack store, Reins. It was after the holidays so it was finally on sale. And was the very last one in my size! WIN!

Jeans: Vigoss
Vigoss jeans are my absolute favorite. They are the perfect length on me and fit my ample butt quite well. Whenever I see them at Marshalls or TJ Maxx I almost always buy them,

Shoes: Lucky Brand
I bought these two years ago right after imposing a no buy on myself. Clearly I failed at that no buy. But these were completely worth it. They're soft leather with brass studs and buckles. So comfy. And they're green, so how could I not?

Arm Party!
Lefty:

Sad news to report on lefty here... When I went home to change into outfit #3 that adorable pug bracelet broke in half spilling beads all over the laundry room floor. Thankfully I made it myself, so I think I can make it again. And hopefully more successfully!

Righty:
Righty is wearing two bracelets made by me today! The first is a wrap bracelet I constructed years ago. I really should wear it more, I love that one! Next up is a stretch stone bracelet that I know you've seen a few times now.

And on to #3! I had a work function to attend in Syracuse tonight, so I had to pretend like I dress business casual instead of like a hobo.
Would you look at that?! I practically look professional!

Shirt: H&M
Yes! That pony shirt came from H&M! I saw it there and had to have it obviously. Who doesn't need a pony shirt? Or three?

Sweater: Tommy Hilfiger
This is one of those sweaters I've had for a million years. But then it went missing in the dry cleaning pile for possibly two years. I'm glad it's back (and clean) as it was perfect for tonight's event.

Pants: Calvin Klein
I live 15 minutes away from a Calvin Klein outlet. Thus, anytime I need dress pants, that's where I go! I like how they fit me, and they are a decent quality. I need to head over there to get some new ones soon. Most of mine are short length which is fine if I wear flats, but I can't wear heels with them. And that's annoying.

Shoes: Kensie
Horse bit shoes! Believe it or not, I got these leather shoes from Little Black Bag during one of their insane shoe sales for $5.00! Yes. That's $5.00. I also have them in leopard. Because $5. Obviously. Aside from their bargain price, they are also really comfortable. I was on my feet much of the evening, and they felt great. Sometimes it is nice to wear flats!

So that's what I wore today yesterday. What do you have on? How do you prefer to dress? Work wear? Casual? Hobo?

Thursday's Threads

Whoa! It's cold out today! Which figures because today is the day I finally got up and ran before work. And I got to wear these:

Yay for French Fry Leggings! (Yes they deserve capital letters!) I ran slow, but with a friend and her dog. It felt great to get back out there! Everything is better with friends, especially running.

But that's not why you're here today... Sorry for rambling. Back to matters at hand. So it's cold out, which means I need some warm clothes! I may or may not have done some shopping this weekend at the Calvin Klein outfit. And I maybe found a STEAL! You'll see below... You know, if it happened. (Spoiler: Obviously that happened.)

So here's today's outfit:

I couldn't really get a great photo in the mirror today, sorry about that! I totally envy real fashion bloggers who have friends or relatives to take amazing photos for them. But hey, I get the job done at least. Sort of. So let's take a closer look at everything!

Top(s):
Vest: Calvin Klein
Shirt: Old Navy
While I admit this vest is maybe supposed to be outer wear... I'm wearing it inside. It's freezing in my office anyway. I love the bright blue. And I love even more that it was 60% off. Yep, $31.00 for this amazing bright blue vest! Plus, when I bought my brother's birthday gift at Tommy Hilfiger, they gave me 10% off to use at Calvin Klein. Total bargain right here!
The shirt which you can't really see in today's photos, is just a plain, black, long sleeved tee from Old Navy. I've had it awhile, and I imagine was somewhere around $10.00. I prefer to get my plain wear-under-stuff items from Old Navy. I don't see a need to spend a ton of money on something simple, when these hold up just fine, and if they don't, they were cheap anyway.

Pants: Almost Famous
I'm pretty certain you've seen these before. What's not to love? Black, skinny jeans... Gold zippers... They're definitely on the favorite list!

Shoes: Isaac Mizrahi
Yeah, I know. They're amazing. Metallic blue leather, suede, punched toe detail... COMFORTABLE! I'm almost jealous of myself for having them. I got them from Zulilly awhile ago. I broke my rule of never paying more than $40 for shoes on them too. But you now what? Totally worth it. TOTALLY!

Accessories:
Necklace:
I love this double strander! So much that I bought it in two colors. They were apart of the big Little Black Bag goes out of business sale.

Arm Parties:
Left:
I kept it equine related on this arm. The first is a bracelet very similar to the one from Fornash, but I got it from a discount site called Tack of the Day. They email me special horsey deals every day at noon. Of course I had to get the bracelet... in two colors. This one happens to match my trusty watch perfectly, doesn't it?! The middle one is from Zulilly and I have no idea what the brand is. But it reminds me of the Hermes bangles that are insanely expensive. (I'm talking over $500 for gold colored metal and enamel. No thanks.)

Right:
The first two here are from my own craft studio. (That's the fancy name I call my lap.) I love that I just happened to have made a bracelet that matched my necklace PERFECTLY! I think that's what drew me to the necklace in the first place, I already had a bracelet to go with it! The last one is also from Little Black Bag. I forget the brand, but I have it in green too. (Does anyone else sense a pattern here?) What I love about this is that it's actual heavy metal chain, not plastic. So it's sturdy and I'm not worried about breaking it.

Purse: Pour La Victoire

Apparently today is wear everything Little Black Bag day. (I so miss that shopping experience... SO MUCH!) I got this bag there, they were selling them for around $40.00. Not bad for genuine leather! I haven't seen them retail under $70 ever, and that's with being on sale. Did I buy it in two colors you ask? Umm... no? (Yeah I totally did. I have an amazing metallic green one. You can see it here. Maybe I have a problem... maybe.)

So that's it! Definitely black and blue kind of day, but in a good way! What are you wearing today?
