What's Up Wednesday!

Phew! Another crazy day. As promised though, time to update on the status of the herd.
Romey:

Romey is actually doing really well! In the last two days, he suddenly is starting to understand bend at the trot, and has even started looking for some contact on the bit. This definitely does not mean he's bending all the time and going round. Nope. Not yet. But these are some big steps! Way to Romes!

Badger:

Badger is home from Saugerties! He's still at trainer's barn, but I'm hoping to take him home for July. He had a great two weeks away and even jumped around some ticketed warm ups. My little guy is growing up!

Jampy:

This is the most appropriate photo to illustrate Jamp's current situation. He's still off. After ALL the vet work he had done... He's exactly the same. <<sigh>> I just hope we can figure out what's going on and get him feeling better. He's not very lame, he's just not right. It may be that at 17 this is as good as he gets, but I'm hoping not! Fingers crossed we can get to the bottom of it. Preferably before winter.

Rio:

Rio is perfect. Obviously. He's always perfect. His cellulitis however is still lingering. So likely it's not cellulitis? I have no idea. Hoping to get the vet out for him and Jamp again soon. Otherwise he really is doing great. We've been riding almost every day to help keep the swelling in his leg down, and he's seriously so fun to ride. He goes forward without complaint, doesn't spook at anything, and has the biggest stride. I could go on and on... But I won't. I'll just leave an extra Rio photo:

I've been riding all three pretty much everyday. They had Sunday off due to crappy weather, and also because everyone needs a day off! Instead of riding, I spent the day switching my winter clothes with the summer clothes and purging a LOT from the closets. Productive day!

I'm not doing a very good job with my big running comeback. Shocking I know! Apparently I REFUSE to get out of bed at 6 am. Which really isn't even that early. I need my running buddies back!

The pugs are doing great. They are the best dogs. Seriously. So happy and cuddly.
Artie needs a diet. Truth. Whatever, who doesn't?
That's about all that's up this Wednesday! Hopefully I'll have exciting stories for you next week... Probably not, but hey, you never know!
What's up with you this Wednesday?
