I have a few confessions this week. We'll start with this:
Last week, one of my coworkers decided to sponsor a make your own sundae bar for all of us. (She's awesome by the way. In case you couldn't tell.) I mean ice cream at work one day isn't so bad. But then today I took a peek in the freezer...
There were leftovers. SO MANY LEFTOVERS! So I made the above sundae. I refrained from adding the caramel, chocolate, and marshmallow sauces though! So I mean, it's practically a diet sundae right?
Well... That leads me to confession number 2. I've been a terrible running slacker. TERRIBLE! I ran once last week. Not at all this weekend. And so far not at all this week. What is my problem?! I do have my regular Thursday run planned with Vanessa, and then a Fourth of July run in my town on Saturday. Four miles of HILLS. Ugh. It's a tough one when I'm fit. It's going to be pure torture with my new run once a week plan. Why do I do this to myself?
And confession number three. I had bought from Tack of the Day awhile back a cute purple polo shirt with pink ponies on it. Well as it turns out, I have breeches that match the ponies exactly.
This wouldn't be so bad if I was twelve. But being 35, it's worthy of confessing. Also... the breeches are from the kids section.
Those are my confessions for this week... Anything you need to get off your back?
Okay that icecream bar looks amazing- best coworker ever!
ReplyDelete2. I wish I was running Four on the Fourth with you! Its miserable but fun in the most miserable fun way!!! WAH
3. I have run 2 miles since my marathon (weeks ago) I should really get back on the running band wagon. wanna hear my latest excuse.
"Well Katie, you put fake tanner on today. Need to stay dry for 8 hours cant sweat no running". Classic.
Hahahahaha! I think that's a pretty reasonable excuse.... then again, I don't even make excuses anymore. I just am all "I love my bed"
DeleteMmmmmm ice cream bar.... I am jealous! I kind of love your matchy outfit, my favorite color is purple so I would be in heaven (it would match my riding gloves also!).
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love matching. And pink and purple. I think deep down, I AM still twelve.
DeleteNow I want ice cream and that polo!!! lol
ReplyDeleteI totally want more ice cream...
DeleteHey Stacie! I just had to stop by and tell you my little Home canvas from the Spring Cheer Exchange has moved around my house from the mantel to the kitchen so I have been thinking about as I see it every day! I seriously love it. Then I reorganized my pantry this past weekend and the felt baseball bucket became the perfect place to store our baseball snacks like sunflower seeds and peanuts. Thought I would just let you know I am still loving my items! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so glad!!! That was such a fun exchange! I had the best time putting it all together. Finding that baseball basket was so perfect!
