Outfit Day!!! You guys, I was such a good blogger this week. I didn't get to ride last night because we had book club, so I remembered to take riding outfit pics on Tuesday. What a good job, self. Pat on the back. So let's start there.
I did forget a helmet pic, but I wore the black one K snakeskin. Also, any one else getting a little tired of sweatshirt season? Come on spring! You can do it! Let's see 60 degrees! Please?
Top: TKEQ Shop
TKEQ Shop had a big sale awhile back, after the holidays I think? And I snagged a few shirts. This WOAH sweatshirt was one of them. I love it! It's big and comfy, and it's pretty thick too.
Belt: Mane Jane
I grabbed the old buckle in a hurry, so please excuse the scuff marks!
Breeches: Riding Sport
I picked these up back in December, but hadn't worn them yet. They're not super thick, so I was saving them for a day above freezing. I have to tell you, they are SUPER comfortable. They were on sale for $25, and I really wish I had gotten more colors. They don't have any left in the most popular sizes (28-30, I'm a 30) but if you're pretty much any other size they still have a lot of options. The green (these) are sold out though.
Boots: TuffRider Regal Patent
Yesterday I mentioned having to let my Regals retire due mostly to some sad zippers and partially to some very well loved soles. So I finally put these patent regals into the rotation. I think they're cute for everyday, and as always with Regals, are super comfy. They did take a little more time to break in, I think because the patent strip up the back is a little stiffer than just plain leather, but by a little longer, I mean 2 rides vs. 1. Love me some Regal boots. These are on clearance for $106 at Horseloverz. Pretty good price for super comfy tall boots if you ask me.
That's what I rode in on Tuesday, but I have a work outfit too!
I went super casual today, because I have a half day to go meet the vet. (Spring shots, and new x-rays for Jampy!) I figured I should wear something that I can horse around in too. I'll change to breeches after to ride, but may keep the top half the same. Yay for casual wear!
Jacket: The North Face
Top: CasaLee
I've been building this fun comic strip outfit for like two years... And I'm finally getting around to wearing it! I have a few other pieces so I can do a second one some other time. Including a pair of shoes that I need to re-discover... sometimes I'm not as organized as I like to pretend.
Belt: Unbranded
I think this belt, though a bit EMO, is pretty awesome. It's leather covered almost entirely in pyramid studs, which were then painted like a comic strip. I just think think it's super fun. I found it second hand on Ebay in the UK.
Jeans: Rue 21
I was going to wear some fun black, moto jeans with this outfit, but I was looking a little TOO Hot Topic, ya know? So I switched to some blue jeans.
Socks: Feat
I can't remember where I got these, but I'm thinking probably Zulily. Perfect match!
Shoes: Blowfish
I have a pair of cute flats that say POW on them, but they really don't work with socks. And it was 29 degrees this morning, so I need socks. I also have a pair of oxford shoes somewhere for this outfit, but, well... I gotta find those. So I went with these neutral ones. Match the jeans pretty exactly!
Accessories!!!
Purse: Save My Bag
I don't know if any of you follow Fab Finds by Sarah, but she has a little boutique at some of the horse shows. She's at WEF in the winter, and I think Tryon in the summer, but don't quote me on that. Anyway, she had these really fun neoprene bags awhile back. They're in the shape of the Hermes Birkin, but made out of washable neoprene. The solid ones are pretty classy, but we all know I lean toward the ridiculous, so I was drooling over this one. I found one for significantly less money on Ebay, straight from Italy where they're made. It's really fun, and I'm so glad to have found one that fit in the budget.
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Why yes, that IS a slap wrap! Zulily had these awhile back in a multi pack. There are four colors with different words on them. I couldn't resist. Looks just right with my fancy apple watch... Hahaha!
Righty:
Yes... you're seeing that right. I'm wearing an Apple watch on one arm and a Fitbit on the other. My work is doing a step challenge, but it's not compatible with the Apple so I had to get a Fitbit. I have a cuter outfit for it on the way. And then next to that is a rubber band bracelet also from Zulily. These compliment the slap wraps quite nicely! Ha! Sorry. I'm a total child.
That's it for today! Any favorites?

Thursday's Threads
It's outfit day!!!! Not only that, but it's like spring time here. New England really can't figure out how to handle the seasons lately, but I'll take a 70 degree in October ANYDAY!
Since it's not freezing, I have a nice lightweight sweater on today! While I prefer it be 85 degrees all year long, I'm just happy to not be completely bundled up today.
Sweater: Haoduoyi
You guys. There's a Boston Terrier on my elbow! In fact, there's one on each elbow. I bought this sweater before I discovered there was also a Pug version, so now I have many sweaters with puppy covered elbows.
Jeans: Rag & Bone
I found these crazy patterned jeans on a clearance rack last year. I think they're super fun, and am SO GLAD I found them!
Shoes: Chelsea Crew
These adorable flats came from Zulily. I actually have a matching purse too, but I was running too late to make the switch today. I didn't get the purse and the shoes together, but they are an exact match, which you know makes me really happy. Now if I could just find Pug flats exactly like these, I will be a happy girl!
Necklace: Kate Spade
I know! Can you believe it? A Boston Terrier necklace? From Kate Spade? Yes. Yes indeed. Now if only she'd make a Pug jewelry set. Yes, I said set. Keep reading...
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is pretending to be a mature adult with a nice black and gold enamel bracelet, also from Kate Spade (by way of Poshmark, no shame in my pre-owned jewelry game) along with my apple watch.
Righty:
There it is! Righty is wearing the other Boston Terrier piece from Kate Spade. How adorable is that bracelet?! It's paired with this pretty black, white, and gold bracelet I got at the Marc Jacobs outlet in Florida last year.
That's what I'm wearing today, but I had a nice riding outfit last night too!
Green again... I know! But that is my main barn color so you have to expect it. Also it seems elbow patches are the theme here today!
Helmet: Charles Owen GR8
He needs no introduction.
Sweater: Ariat
Admittedly, I wish I'd gotten a medium in stead of a small in this sweater. It's not really too small, but I wouldn't mind it a little less fitted. That aside, I love the navy stitching, and those elbow pads are SO FUN!
Belt: Unbranded
This is just a green belt strap I found on Ebay and I stuck one of my H buckles on it. I can't believe it's the exact same shade as the sweater!
Breeches: SmartPak
You've seen these guys before. They're a blue-gray denim. I got them on super duper sale. I don't LOVE them, but I don't hate them either.
Boots: TuffRider Regal
The Regals really do look nice before you beat the poo out of them, don't they? And the zippers even stay up in the beginning! I just love these boots. I know they're crap. But I love them anyway.
Spurs: Evo Equine
Straps: Stacie Originals
I keep my rainbow spurs on the Regals. I think they're so fun! Jampy's rainbow bit just arrived and I'm waiting on Rio's rainbow hackamore so we can be all matching.
And that's it for today! Any favorites? How's the weather where you are?

Thursday's Threads
Outfit Day! It's officially fall today, boooo. BUT it is in the 80's so I have no complaints. With the change of season comes a change a in color scheme though...
Boom! Fall colors! Sort of. I think if you pair mint green carefully, you can make it work in any season. I may be wrong. But I do it anyway!
Top: Ralph Lauren
Confession: I found this in my drawer with all the tags still on. I'm pretty sure I've had it for awhile now. Oops. It's a fairly basic tee with a nice boat neck trimmed in brown kind of lacey type something. It's a little different without being to crazy.
Pants: Blue Spice
These are a recent addition. I'm regularly wishing I had a good light brown pair of pants, so when I saw these in Marshall's for 16.99 I couldn't pass them by. They claim to be high waisted, but they're more of a mid rise which I like just fine.
Shoes: Sperry
These are from the kids department and are pretty old. I'm sure they've been on here before. I love that they're metallic!
Arm Party!
Lefty:
Left is sporting a couple of stretch bracelets that I made. They are mostly wooden beads, with some stone and metal square beads to mix things up. I'm also wearing my apple watch.
Right:
Righty kept it simple today with two equestrian themed cuff bracelets from Swanky Saddle. I was worried these were going to break in no time, but so far they're holding up great. I've been wearing them most days, and even have showered in them a couple times (oops).
And of course I have a riding outfit to share too!
I may have gone a little too far with all the green... I could have at least not stood next to all the covered trunks! Ha! Oh well.
Top: J. Crew
I had actually worn this to work the other day and was too lazy to change when it was time to ride. It's a cute top, very light weight, so it's great for almost any season.
Breeches: Horze Crescendo
You've definitely seen these before. When they first arrived I thought I might hate them as they appeared to have a very high rise. But they don't actually, and are super comfortable. I sized up needlessly though, and if I decide to get them again, will just get my usual size.
Belt: No Brand
I found this green leather belt strap on Ebay awhile back. I love that it fits my H buckle!
Boots: TuffRider
I think the time has come to retire the Sport Boot, so I've been wearing this pair of Regals more and more. The Sport Boot has zippers that no longer stay up and they're starting to get a little dry rot. I can't complain, I've had them a couple of years now and taken pretty much zero care of them. The Regals aren't quite as comfy as the Sport Boot, but they're also not nearly as broken in, so hopefully they'll get there. Seriously, anyone looking for a comfy pair of knock around boots, that you could also get away with in the show ring, give these a try!
Spurs: No brand
Spur Straps: Ovation
Yep, those are indeed green spurs. This my friends is what happens when I have a slow day at the desk job. I find things like green spurs on ebay and buy them. They're kind of awesome though, no? Obviously if you have ridiculous green spurs, then you need to pair them with equally ridiculous rainbow glitter straps. Rules, ya know?
So that's what I'm wearing today! Any favorites? What do you have on?

Truthful Tuesday
I have a real "first world problem" to talk about today... I don't know which boots to wear at the horse show this week. I know, I know... But here's the thing:
I know my Parlantis are the prettiest. But they still aren't really broken in. I want to make sure I can actually feel (and USE!) my leg. So you'd say, ok then go with the Regals. They're SO COMFY! But I still think not pretty enough. That textured leather... meh. I also have my old boots that I've been showing in for a few years. They're not in bad shape.
So I cleaned and polished all three last night. And I'll bring them all with me and let my barn mates help me pick! Hopefully they choose wisely ;)
Which would you wear? Bearing in mind this is my horse's and my first show since October. It's AA rated. And he's likely to be wild.

Update: Tuffrider Regal vs. Parlanti
You all may remember this post from a little bit ago in which I showed you two brand new pairs of boots. I showed you all the similarities and differences in that post and basically concluded that they were both awesome in their own way. But what I hadn't done was actually RIDE in them. Well friends, I have ridden in both, and thought I'd tell you about them!
I am really embarrassed that I'm showing you dirty boots. There's just been no time for boot cleaning. Plus I wanted to show you worn boots. And worn boots get dirty.
Parlantis:
Size: 36XLH (or size 6, extra tall, extra wide)
I've ridden in them about 10 times so far. And let me tell you. They require some serious breaking in! Or maybe I need to lose some lbs... Either way, they have not yet reached comfortable status. NOT. AT. ALL. They do, however, look amazing. Here are some photos:
I think the problem is primarily my cankles... They just don't fit all that well in that tiny ankle on this boot! But they're getting better and have gotten more tolerable with every ride. Discomfort aside, these boots are gorgeous. I do like the snug fit, and the foot fits perfectly too.
Regals:
Size: 6 regular
So you pretty much just put these on and go ride.
I've ridden in them three times. That's it. And they're soft like butter and have literally ZERO break in time. None! So comfy. Like wearing slippers. Tall, leather slippers. Also, the inner panel is textured and really grippy. My very first ride in them was on Ducky and he was feeling a bit sassy. He spooked and ran sideways, but with these boots on, I just stuck like glue. GLUE!
There are some negatives to mention though. They are not as pretty. It's obvious that the leather is lower quality and the boots are just a little... well... less (for lack of a better adjective). I also find the heel and foot to be a bit loose. Perhaps a half size smaller would have been better. I wear spurs though, and that seems to snug them up. Here are some Regal shots:
My first show of the season is approaching frighteningly quickly, and I'm not yet sure which boots I'll wear. I may just wear my old ones... We'll have to see!
What do you think? What do you ride in? Let me know your opinion in the comments!
