Spring Cheer Exchange!

http://floralandfudge.blogspot.com/2015/03/spring-cheer-exchange.html

My friend Katie over at Running a Ragnar let me know about a Spring Cheer exchange happening amongst some bloggers she follows, and I was PSYCHED to join in the fun! Who doesn't love presents and spreading the word about new blogs to follow?! The event was hosted by Rachel from Floral and Fudge and Astleigh from Hill Collection.
I sent a box to Shelly over at The Queen in Between. My box took forever to get to her, and I'm so sorry she had very little time to get her post together... Hopefully she loves her items though! I had so much fun picking everything out for her, and was able to snag some great deals to really fill her box at the $15 limit!
My awesome box came from Whitney at Work it Mommy, all the way from California! She stopped by over here to see what kinds of things I like, and she really "got" me! I loved everything in the box! I have to apologize for my not so great photos, I thought the natural light would be so perfect... but not so much... You'll have to trust me that everything is totally me and gorgeous! So let's see what Whitney sent!

The color scheme was my FAVORITE! Mint and pink! What's better than all things mint and pink? Nothing that I can think of.

Mani-Pedi supplies:
Mint green toes separators with the cutest file and clippers I've ever seen! I am so needing these for
the disaster situation my nails are in...

Polish!

I had to include the picture of the wrapped polish just because it was so adorable! I love this bright pink color and can't wait to try it out!

EOS Strawberry Lip Balm and Pony charm!

Again, Whitney did the cutest job of packaging everything together. I love that little pony charm, and I can't wait to make something with it! Believe it or not, this is my first EOS lip balm. I don't know what I've been waiting for, this stuff is fantastic! Smells great and really moisturizes.

Picture Frame:
This springy frame is adorable, and I love that Hello Spring floral print inside! I may leave it as is!

Notebook:
One can never have too many notepads. And if it's pink, all the better!

Paper Straws!
These mint paper straws are so cute! They have such a springy feel to them, I can't wait to sit outside and enjoy a cold lemonade with these!

Treats!
These caramels are homemade in a shop near Whitney, and they are DELICIOUS! There were actually three of them, but... well... I ate one before I took the photo. Oops. They're so tasty!

Many thanks to Rachel and Astleigh for hosting this fun exchange/link up! It was so much fun to choose cute items for someone else, and also to see what a fellow blogger would choose for me! I definitely want to participate in something like this again!
Have you ever done an exchange like this? What sorts of things did you include?

Thursday's Threads, and a bonus: What I Wore Wednesday

I really loved my outfit yesterday, so in addition to Thursday's Threads this week, I'm also bringing you What I Wore Wednesday. So let's start with yesterday!

It's finally actually Summer, so the white jeans and tanks are out in full effect! Let's start at the top:

Tank: Pink Rose $9.99 from TJ Maxx online

When I ordered this, I actually thought it was navy and white. As an admitted mint-a-holic, you can imagine my excitement when it arrived in MINT and navy! Yay!! New favorite top maybe?

Pants: Rue 21 $9.99 on clearance last year

Belt: C. Wonder $34.99 for the belt and $9.99 (on sale!) for the buckle:

For some reason this photo appears like I have it on upside down, but in real life it's the same either way. Funny angle I guess. Anyway, I LOVE THIS BELT AND BUCKLE SO MUCH! Also the belt is reversible to white. So much to love. Possibly my best purchase this summer.

Shoes: Enzo Angiolini... I don't remember what I paid for these, but I got them at 6pm.com at the end of last summer.

I should have done a better close up of these. Those mint parts are stone (or maybe faux stones) and they have little gold flecks in them. SO PRETTY! I love them at least as much as the belt. Possibly a little more.

Wednesday Arm Party:

On the left: Equestrian Bangle from C. Wonder, white and thin mint initial bangles from Baublebar, and lastly my trusty watch.
On the right: A Bit Cuff and a stirrup bangle from Baublebar, a horseshoe cuff from Sloane Ranger, and another bit bracelet from Baublebar. I call this my pony stack!

Ok, so that was Wednesday's outfit, let's look at today!

I know, I know, mint two days in a row! Whatever, I love the color so much! Let's start at the bottom this time:

Shoes: Nine West flip flops in Nude $19.99 at the outlet!

Basic, comfy, good quality. Sometimes simple is best!

Pants: Rue 21 $9.99.

These are actually the same pants I wore yesterday, but in mint instead of white. They are super inexpensive, but SO COMFY. They do stretch quite a lot throughout the day though, which can be both good and bad.

Top: Monteau Los Angeles $15.99 TJ Maxx (or possibly Marshalls. I got it last year)

I love that this is a neutral shade as it can work with so many colors! I chose to layer a cami underneath that matches my pants, but sometimes I'll just do a neutral underneath it as well. This is one of the few peplum tops that actually hits in the right spot on me. Often they're just a little too high. Which is odd since I'm so short.

On the wrists:

I kept it somewhat simple today. An enamel and gold chain bracelet and the mint initial bangle accompany my watch today (all bracelets today from Baublebar). On the right hand is a a leather wrap bracelet with ENORMOUS gold discs and rhinestones on it. So fun! I tried to stack some others with this one, but it looked best on its own.

Which outfit do you like better? Are you mint obsessed like me? What are you wearing today?

Thursdays Threads

In true Thursday form, it's cold and rainy again. But I'm doing my best to embrace it. Although, when the Dunkin Donuts near work had no power, and I couldn't get any coffee, it became just that much harder to do...

But that's not why you stopped by! Let's see the outfit!

I hope you all like mint green since that seems to be all I wear on Thursdays. Let's start at the top!

Shirt:
Brand: Say What
Purchased at: TJ Maxx or Marshalls, I forget which

I love this top. LOVE! Although I'm on the fence about the bows. I think I can remove them without damaging anything, but I don't hate them... I'm just not sure. What are your thoughts?

Pants:
Brand: American Rag
Purchased at: Macy's

These are your basic not quite white colored denim pants. I love the tan stitching on them. They have some stretch but not so much that they are falling down by the end of the day. I had purchased them while in FL. My flight home had been canceled and I needed something to wear out to dinner. All my clothes were already worn! Good find, I get tons of use out of them.

Shoes:
Brand: Bamboo
Purchased at: Modcloth

You have no idea how much I love these. NO IDEA! I recently was reading one of those lists on Facebook... I think it was something like Shoes 90's Girls Should Be Ashamed of Owning. And these jellies were definitely on it. That said, I just bought these like a week ago. And I LOVE THEM. Also, I feel no shame. NO SHAME! Plus, what better to wear on a rainy summer day than jelly shoes? Nothing. That's what.

Arm Party!

My right arm has all brand new, never worn goodies on it! The first is a wrap bracelet I just got from Stella and Dot. A friend of mine had a party, but I wasn't able to go. I wanted to support her anyway, and was able to online! Win for everyone! Anyway, I got this wrap bracelet, and also the one next to it with the mint, gold, and pearl beads. I love them both, and they look great together! The other three are sort of Alex and Ani inspired. My mom gave them to me for my birthday, so I'm not sure who they're by or where they are from. But they are SO PRETTY! And just happen to go perfectly with my Stella and Dot jewels!

I decided to wear my gold watch today instead of my awesome mint one. Next I have a custom bracelet with my name that I got from Etsy. The horseshoe bracelet is from the cutest little shop in my town called Simon's Marketplace. It's a little gift store, but it's also a deli with all gourmet delicacies. I would eat every meal there if I could! And lastly, the thick bangle with the equestrian motif is from C.Wonder. I had never heard of that site, and saw someone liked it on Facebook. I love it! I also got a belt that I'm in love with, but I'm sure you'll see that soon!

Well that's it from here! I better run... My actual job that supports my fashion habit is piling up as I type!
Let me know what you liked and didn't like about today's outfit!
