Thursday's Threads

I ate a whole sleeve of Thin Mints today. I do not feel thin. Anywho... It's outfit day! My outfits are somewhat uninspired this week. But hey, at least I put clothes on! Ha! Here's what I rode in last night:

Kinda dreary, huh? I gotta do some brighter laundry one of these days...

Helmet: One K
Yes. I look tired.
Same old. I know... One of these days I'll mix it up. This was not that day.

Sweatshirt: Smart Ass and Sass
It says, "I swear because I care." This is not necessarily a true statement. I just swear a lot.

Belt: Mane Jane
Gray belt to match the sweatshirt with the gold buckle, because SOMETHING had to be a little shiny!

Breeches: Tredstep
I've had these forever, so you've seen them a bunch. They're great breeches. Super comfy. Unassuming.

Boots: De Niro
Navy still going strong! And the zippers came for the black ones. So eventually I'll get those replaced. Assuming this virus calms down one day. I'm not venturing into any cities unnecessarily till then!

So that's what I wore to ride in last night, and here's my work outfit today:

Not too exciting, but still pony themed!

Sweater: French Connection
I actually picked this one up second hand on Pohsmark awhile back. I think it's adorable.

Belt: C4
Figured the braid belt was cute with the pony sweater. Plus the black and white theme seemed to work.

Jeans: Vintage America Blues
I might have worn these pretty recently... maybe even last week? I can't remember. But they're a neat color, kind of a slate gray.

Shoes: Tretorn
I'm not sure why, but I totally love these old man looking shoes. I mean... they have VELCRO. They're awesome. You'll have to trust me.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is donning my new favorite bracelet from Loriece along with my apple watch.

Righty:
Righty is wearing my gold and black Hermes saddle nail bracelet, the full cheek bracelet in black, and my fitbit.

And that's it from outfit day! Do you have any favorites from today? I swear, I'm trying to catch up on everyone's blogs. So when you see random comments from me on posts that are like two weeks old... sorry. I'm trying! Hope you're all doing well and avoiding the Covid!

Thursday's Threads

I'm really hoping that from here on out we have riding and work outfits! I cheated a little and took riding outfit photos over the weekend just in case I didn't get to ride during the week, so this outfit is from Saturday.
The boys matched me too! They wore Lettia baby pads in pink tye-dye and some pink brushing boots from HKM.
Rio

Jampy
Helmet: Charles Owen AYR8
I have to admit laziness here. I have a black one with pink piping and didn't feel like getting it from the house. I really need to work on getting a cabinet in the barn to store all my stuff so it's always accessible.

Sweatshirt: something mountain...
I'm having an old lady moment and can't remember the brand on this. You've seen this before, possibly in other colors. I have four of them. They're fleece but it's a knit, not like your typical polar fleece. They're not static-y and they look a little nicer than your run of the mill sweatshirt.

Belt: Mane Jane
This is the belt strap I won in the Mane Jane Instagram contest. I LOVE it! It's dark gray on the other side, and between the two matches so many things! I really love this patent, pink croc side.

Breeches: SmartPak Gel Pipers
I like the gel pipers. I like the regular pipers too. I don't LOVE them. They pill up pretty quickly, and the fit is kind of so-so. But for the price, I think they're super fun and definitely good enough for everyday abuse. I love the color options, which for me is a big selling point.

Boots: TuffRider Regal
I was still battling the mud at this point. So while I do have a comfy set of paddock boots and half chaps that are black patent with pink piping, I didn't want to get them all disgusting. So the old standby it was!

That's what I rode in on Saturday! So now for today's work outfit!

I've been wanting to wear these booties for awhile, so decided today was the day. I'm a little lacking in the purple top department this season, but this casual sweater did the job. It's almost  EXACTLY the same shade as the boots which is something!

Sweater: French Connection
I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I really love French Connection sweaters. They're knit really tightly, and slightly felted. They just seem like really high quality pieces. And they're SUPER soft! It almost looks like a sweatshirt here, but it's actually a sweater.

Belt: Steve Madden
I grabbed this one off the clearance rack at Marshalls awhile back. I think the purple stars are fun, and the horse shoe type buckle obviously made me love it.

Jeans: Big Star
I didn't realize this until I was at work, but the I washed these with my wine colored jeans and the leg not shown in this photo has some red in it now... Ooops. I'll have to wash them together again and see if I can even it out! Doh.

Shoes: RW
I have no idea what RW stands for, but these didn't come with a box and that's all it says on the inside... I got them from Zulily and think they're super fab. What's not to like about purple booties?

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Left is wearing a snakeskin horse bracelet that I made. I LOVE this leather, but it's really expensive so I don't have a whole stack with it.

Righty:
Righty has on a MEGA stack! The first four are all made from basically the same leather (obviously the third one is skinner, but it's the same brand). The last one is a Kate Spade bangle. I was so excited to find that she had one that matched my homemade stack!

And that's it for today. I was kind of throwing it back to my youth when all I would wear was pink and purple. Some things don't change! Any favorites from today? What are you wearing?

Thursday's Threads

Outfit Day! My favorite day! Since last week was so kitchy, I decided to somewhat class it up today. Plus the temps outside are dropping like it's hot... but it's not hot. Not hot at all. Waaahhhhh. I miss that 50 degree winter we were enjoying. Also, it snowed again this morning. But enough of my whining, let's see what I'm wearing today:

I'm bundled up for a long cold day in my refrigerator of an office. Let's look closer:

Sweater: French Connection
This is one of my most comfortable items of clothing EVER. I love the knits from French Connection. They're so tightly woven they almost seem like a sweatshirt, and are as soft as can be.

Vest: Pink Rose
This knit vest is padded with faux shearling. It's ridiculous how warm it is. I may look like I gained 70 lbs when I wear it, but I don't care. I'm warm! Throw some toggle buttons on anything and I will buy it. Just FYI if you're trying to sell me something.

Jeans: Premier by Rue21
I've had these awhile. They're the perfect dark wash jeans. Just a little bit of stretch, the length is perfect, they're straight leg so they look great inside boots or with boat shoes. And most importantly, there's a HORSE on each back pocket. Obviously these get a lot of use.

Boots: Steve Madden
This pair has been buried at the bottom of Mt. Tall Boots for much of the winter, but I carefully deconstructed said mountain just for today! These fit me like a glove, and are really comfortable. I love that the zipper is angled, the material is real leather, and they are super comfy.

Arm Party!
Lefty:
Lefty is sporting a black and rose gold Gucci inspired bracelet, and my Hermes apple watch.

Righty:
Righty is all fancied up today! First is a gold and charcoal bracelet from Pura Vida, next is a rhinestone wrap bracelet from Express, followed by one I beaded myself, and lastly a bangle from Express.

That's what I'm wearing today! What do you have on? Do you have a favorite piece from today?
