Truthful Tuesday

Oh boy... I have some confessions this week. First, I'm sure you're anxiously awaiting an update on the most handsome boy in the world:
My confession there is that I MAY have overreacted a bit. Thankfully, I have the very best vet in all the land. So I called him up texted him for advice last week for some educated insights on the situation, and without my even asking, he planned to stop by the farm to put his own eyeballs on Rio for me. Once he arrived, he watched Rio chewing and spitting out his hay and told me he didn't think it was neurological. We took him out, and I pulled off his blankie, and Doc thought Rio looked really great, especially after a whole winter of doing nothing. Doc wanted to look in Rio's mouth, but Rio didn't want that. Unfortunately for Rio, he doesn't get much say. After a good inspection, Doc discovered a small crack in one tooth, which he doesn't actually think is bothering him, and that he has some TMJ which is likely causing the problem. At Rio's age, it might not be the best plan to have that tooth pulled unless it really does prove to be a problem, so we decided to change his anti-inflammatory and see how he does on that for a week or two. He seems to be feeling much better. He is much brighter, and while still spitting out some of his hay, he is eating some of it too. I've also made sure to keep chopped hay in front of him all the time too so he has options. #spoiled

Confession number two is my real embarrassment for the week... You guys, I binge watched all three season of Girl Meets World. You know, that show with a tween target audience.

Yeah. Totally happened. I watched every single episode. When I was a younger human, I watched Boy Meets World regularly. I always had a big crush on Sean Hunter... Girl Meets World is a spin off in which the parents of the girl in question are Corey and Topanga Matthews. They were the kids in Boy Meets World way back in the time of the dinosaurs (also known as my youth). I got hooked on this remake because they did a great job of bringing back the old characters at the right times. It really tied in with the old show and warmed my nostalgic little heart.

Have you ever binge watched something completely ridiculous? Did you watch either of these shows? Anything else you need to confess? Let's chat in the comments!

  1. I loved Boy Meets World as a kid. Have not watched the new series. I regularly watch dumb things like today I watched the new Independence Day Movie, which was terrible and I'm not watching Lilo and Stitch, which I love, but is meant for like 6 year olds.

    1. Lilo and Stitch is the best! I think I like mindless entertaining because the rest of life is dramatic enough.

    1. It was so good! You should definitely watch some Girl Meets World. The best episode was the Christmas one where they bring back pretty much everyone from Boy Meets World.
