Truthful Tuesday

 

Oh man guys, it is a vacation edition confession today. And I have TWO! First is an expected confession. The amount of calories I've been consuming are definitely FAR outweighing the amount I'm expending. But whatever, it's vacation. An afternoon ice cream cone SHOULD be a thing on vacation, okay?? Sheesh. My breeches still went on today, so it can't be THAT bad.

The second confession is that I apparently didn't pack for conditions. I had to pack a little bit ahead of time just because that's when I had time to do it. At that point the weather report said high 70's for the entire trip. Unfortunately, I just discovered last night that we're dropping down to low 60's for the rest of the trip. Which is still LOVELY compared to home, but I only packed short sleeves. Fortunately, I made a TJ Maxx run when I had some family free time the other day and had scored some seamless long sleeve tees for $6 and $8. So now I'm covered for the cooler weather (literally AND figuratively). 

Overnights are dropping down to the low 40's and here in south Florida that calls for falling iguana warnings. We don't have these problems up north! Ha!
